This is one the best if not, the best Super Smash Bros. games ever. I love this game so much. This has to be my favorite Smash Bros game so far. I love this because of the characters, obviously. Most of my favorite video game franchises has come together. Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, Sonic the Hedgehog, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, and Banjo Kazooie.

Super Smash Bros. has had a long a storied history going all the way back to the Nintendo 64. Now, being an ancient dinosaur I've had the privilege of playing each and every Smash game as they came out... and I have to say, I believe this game is the best one they've produced yet. With over 70 characters and more stages than should be legally possible, you really can't get bored with the game's selection. The combat is MUCH improved over the previous "Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS," which I already thought was an improvement over Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. Whether you're looking for a party fighting game to play with friends or a surprisingly deep fighter to master and dominate opponents with, you can't go wrong with Smash Ultimate.

This is the first game I purchased for my Nintendo Switch OLED. The colors on this game are amazing. This game also doesn't get boring because you can play with up to 8 friends, online, and even against a computer opponent. I have been playing this game non-stop since I bought it and I don't regret purchasing it.

My family got this game for Christmas and played Christmas Day took it home and brought it back to play for the kids everyone had so much fun as a product it’s well thought out works well and my family loves it

This is the definitive multiplayer experience on the Switch along with Mario Kart Deluxe. Every entry in the series has been outstanding and this one is truly the Ultimate game. 74 characters. 100+ stages. 800+ music tracks. 8 players simultaneously. It's just crazy how much is in this game...truthfully I don't there's any other title that will give you as much bang for your buck. Plus, considering how the Smash Bros series in general seems to be played throughout a console's lifespan...this entry will be no different. I've had it for 2 days...and I already have 25 hours logged in...

Got this game for my son. He plays with his brother and cousins constantly. They LOVE this game! I can’t seem to get into it but it is popular with the kids.

The game lives up to its title of Ultimate, with content to last for days (not simply hours) of gameplay. The single player story line, World of Light (WoL), took me somewhere between 30 to 40 hours to complete, with a few additional to reach 100% if I had not done a New Game+ for it, Classic Mode is unique to each character (74 fighters without the DLC which will include 6 more), Spirits which replace the trophies are around 1200+, and with only playing WoL you obtain less than 600 of them. It includes other game modes such as Century Smash, All Star Smash and Cruel Smash. With these modes its enough to help any new player learn the basics of any of the fighters, but also provides challenges for the more veteran fighters.

I can't play this because there are too many factors and buttons and moves. But my kids love it and get really intense when they play. Harmless fun.

This is a fun game. I've only out 5 hours into world of light and 10 hours total and i can already tell I'll be back to this game a lot. With the addition of stage builder the possibilities are endless!

If you want to make a 15-year old Switch user happy, buy them this game! Hard to find for a better price and backed up with the Best Buy reputation. You can't beat it!

550 hours. Love smash and play it all the time with friends. Great for challenging yourself on online play then 1v1ing your gf, crushing her, and feeling great for the rest of the day.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is an extremely solid Smash Brothers game that I can easily recommend to fans of the franchise. Mechanically, it is very similar to Smash 4, with some minor changes in a couple of areas. It fits the hybrid space well where it's a great party game to play with friends, but also where a competitive scene will obviously develop. There are more characters, stages, and music than ever before (really excellent job on the music selection!), and the single-player in the game is so much better than you'd expect from a typical Smash game. Unless you're in that extremely small contingent of Smash fans who will never like a Smash game that isn't Melee, I definitely recommend picking up Smash Ultimate!

All my daughter wanted for Christmas was this game (and a Nintendo Switch to play it on.) After she got it she played for like 2 days straight but still needs to unlock some of the characters. She LOVES it!

What a nostalgic game! Enjoyed this game on the Wii and now the Switch! I was lost until I realized the more you play the more characters become unlocked.
