Haven't fully played a Smash Bros since 64 so I can't compare to previous entries but I gotta say I am loving this game. I first played with friends the first night I got it and we all had a blast. I am also having a ton of fun playing solo going through the adventure mode. Highly recommend whether you'll be playing with friends or solo you'll be having a great time playing this game!

Unlockables in fighting games. You either love them or hate them. I am not the biggest fan of them as it usually requires far too much time playing through arcade mode by yourself if you don’t have friends around. This is a solid entry to smash bro though. Some technical improvements have been made and some new mechanics as well. The huge roster allows for loads of replayability.

My kids enjoy playing this game. They find it easy to play yet hard to beat.

The controls take some getting used to but others than that the game is great!

This installment in the series has been one of the most entertaining yet. Whether it be on my own or with friends or family, the gameplay is thrilling, although I’m still not great, especially in the more complex strategies the game has to offer. Regardless, it has been and continues to be an entertaining pastime, even more so with other people.

I tend to buy fighting games, play for 5 minutes, and then never play them again. SSBU is different - it's so accessible and easy to play, that it's hard to put down. Furthermore, when I do try to stop playing, something new pops up (e.g. new character unlocks), that I feel like I have to keep playing. Multiplayer is great, and lag-free. An excellent addition to Nintendo's library!
