This surface isn't worth it because of the SQ1 chip it has. Microsoft hasn't made the effort to make all apps compatible with the Surface Pro X. I would suggest an 8 or 7 because of the Intel chip in those. They wouldn't let me return it either and offered $300 in credit.

Crystal clear screen, great for watching movies and TV.

Felt nice, but was already lagging right out of the box with even simple paint programs.

Not particularly responsive or fast, but its a cheaper tablet and itll get basic tasks done.

I had high hopes for this Surface Pro X, but unfortunately the processor contained within it was the limiting factor to its sleek appearance and easy usability. The performance was sluggish, and it had difficulty with peripheral interface with Wi-Fi/blue tooth printer, which resulted in my files needing to be forward to another computer to be printed off --very inconvenient and defeated the purpose of having such an expensive handheld device that should have been capable of simple task like interfacing with a printer. Ultimately after a few weeks trial, I had to return this product and purchase a 2-in-1 laptop instead.

The home button got stuck, so you couldn’t turn it on or off. This happened within two weeks of the purchase. Went to the store on February 12th to try to exchange it. Our local store would not accept the exchange, because of a little scratch of us trying to fix it ourselves. The manger wasn’t helpful or understanding. We contacted Microsoft, thankfully they were more helpful and didn’t care about the scratch. They even told us looking over the photos they requested of the device that we should go back to Best Buy for an exchange. It’s a shame that my local store lost many of its really good employees

This was the second Surface I purchased after having to return the first one. I had this surface for 4 days, I was using it when It prompted me to restart for updates. The surface never restarted and just kept going back to the restart screen. When I took it to the geek squad they said it had a “bad hard drive” and in order to get it fixed I needed to contact Microsoft and send it to them to get fixed. I ended up ultimately returning it.

How does someone buy a tablet brand new from the store to take it home and it literally DOES NOT WORK!!!! No software to boot up system. Been working on it all day to try and get it to work, reset, redo, ANYTHING that I have done. But NO! Will be returning first thing tomorrow and will never shop here, lady that sold it to me said this was the best on the market. Big lie.
