Goodbye iPad - Hello Surface Pro

But I'm here to say that the Surface Pro is amazing. I didn't think using a Windows OS on a tablet would be necessary. It seemed like my iPad could do everything I needed. But it turns out, the productivity of a Surface Pro is miles ahead of an iPad. So what makes the Surface Pro the better choice? That really depends on what you use for a desktop computer. If you're use to using Windows on a PC. The Surface Pro is going to feel like second nature. Almost everything you can do on a desktop PC you can do on a Surface Pro. High end gaming/video editing/etc are some exceptions, as those tend to require much higher hardware specs. The touch screen is perfectly sensitive. There are a plethora of options to change how you interact with the touch screen. The multi-gesture controls are pretty intuitive and easy to do. The clarity and resolution of the screen is outstanding. It's quite vibrant and crisp. And the weight is surprisingly light. The battery life seems to be pretty stellar so far. I've had it for almost 2 weeks and have only had to charge it twice. Of course, your use may vary. But so far I'm quite pleased with how much use I get out of it between charges. I'm very impressed with this tablet. It feels like an extension of my desktop PC. Its comfortable to use. Has all the same functionality as a desktop windows PC. And is light, thin and very portable.
