I play during travels, free hours, in the park. This console is amazing.

I purchased the switch for my neice and she loves it! She always wanted to play animal crossing and she is literally having the time of her life with it. System works great and is easy for her to use. Would recommend it to anyone.

As an adult, this is fun for all ages! I love being able to wind down and take a break from real life. The buttons are easy to use, screen is a great size and a great picture. I love it! We bought 4 of them for us and the kids! My only possible complaint is battery life. If the kids are playing for an extended about of time, the battery drains quickly.

I was really stocked to get this as a mother’s day gift from my husband! He packaged it along with animal crossing new horizons and it’s been so fun getting to play it on this switch! The color is so beautiful and it’s really amazing at how light it feels. My husband has the regular Nintendo Switch and even he is tempted to get the Switch Lite because of how light it is to carry around.

I love it its fun to use when your on vacation or camping with friends

To anyone who hasn’t gotten a Switch yet and we yourself being more on the go this is the way to go. I have both versions of the switch, I use this one a whole lot more and with Pokémon coming out in a month it’s time to move on.

The Switch Lite offers a much more comfortable handheld experience than the Switch, however to obtain this you are giving up docking. I would highly reccomend this to anyone not planning on playing on a tv, its much smaller so its even more portable than its predessor. However, if you are interested in playing on a tv I would look at the regular switch as the added functionality is worth the extra $100.

This Switch should only be bought if you know that you are not planning to plug it in to a TV. The build quality is good. I have used a regular size switch before and think the buttons feel better on the Lite than the other. All Switches come with 32 GB of storage, which is not enough, so you will need to price at least a 128 GB SD card in the price if you want to download games.

Sure, you can't dock it, the controllers aren't removable, and the screen is not as good, but this device still has a place in our household. It's smaller, lighter, and much less expensive. When gaming handheld, I prefer the Lite to the original.

It’s an awesome system that my family love. Very cool all the things that can be done on it and the customization of what can and can not be on it. The child locks is good too

The Switch Lite is exactly what it says it is: a smaller version of its big sibling, with the benefit of portability and the simplicity of being an all-in-one device. The drawbacks, of course, are that the Lite can't be docked, making it impossible to play on a full-sized TV screen, which basically negates the main value of the Switch as a versatile system that can make the whole family happy. The Lite is perfect for people who want a personal device to play games like Animal Crossing, or a great way to squeeze in some Minecraft on the go, but that's all it is. You have to decide for yourself whether that's worth $200. Personally, if I could have found a full-sized Switch, I would have preferred that, even though I already have one.
