The Nintendo Switch Lite is so fun. We have a regular Switch and added a Switch Lite so different people can be playing different games at the same time. The Switch Lite is, dare I say, more popular for one-person games. It's light (can't decide if this pun was intended or not), easy to move around, has a clear screen and feels just right in your hands whether your laying out on your stomach, lounging on the couch, or sitting up in a chair. We haven't done it much, but you can even pair a pro controller for more "serious" one-person gaming without being tethered to wherever you've already got a TV. My only real gripe is that transferring game data between the two consoles is way more clunky and cumbersome than it should be, considering that cloud saves are a subscription feature we pay extra for. Nintendo really needs to make that process completely automated or, failing that, at least a one-click option instead being buried three screens deep in an obscure menu.

Nintendo Switch Lite works great! I was debating between getting the coral color or the teal. The coral color is very pretty!

Love this color. So worth the wait! The release date was April 2nd, so I thought I’ll be getting it the following week after shipping and everything. To my surprise, it was delivered to my door within the next couple days. Couldn’t be happier. Battery drainage is real though, could just be me

This is the second switch that I've bought, the first one was the original switch model, and I must say, that for $100 less, this one is much better. I love the feel of it, and it's a little smaller than the original switch. Both of my boys love it as well. The only disadvantage this one has is that you can't play it on the tv, but my kids play both of them more as handhelds anyways. I would say that time will tell on the quality as I've had issues with the controllers on the original switch, where the joysticks stopped working or weren't working right. I ended up having to buy a new set of controllers, which aren't cheap. If that happens with this one, there's no way to replace them, so fingers crossed. I would still recommend this for everyone!

The switch is great for adults and kids, vivid colors, great sound, no lag!

This is a perfect compact game console with all the necessary ingredients that a gaming machine should have. Is quite fantastic to hold and play using the hands. The BestBuy representative was excellent in helping me to decide between a switch and switch lite. When it comes to games, it seems not all games have the same kind of rendering pattern, like for instance Mario 3D was completely different when played on this compared to playing on a switch. Switch definitely seems to have high performance graphics hardware and more over with dedicated TV connectivity the experience will be different. But for handheld gaming console it's definitely worth and provides what it promises... . There are little goofy things which Nintendo enforces on their games like not able to share etc., but if we decide to go with Nintendo, we have to honor those. Overall its a well worth device.

My daughter absolutely loves her new switch. It is super easy to set up and fun to make avatars. Downloading the games is super simple.

My wife loves playing Super Mario on this little system. The graphics is good for a small portable gaming device. Can’t complain.

I honestly love my switch lite. It’s great for a handheld device. I’ve yet to have any issues with it. If you plan on pretty much playing by yourself majority of the time or just online then the lite is a better option for you :)

My daughter loves it. Has had no problems playing this late version. She was just looking for a handheld console to not need to dock it to any TV.

While many don’t appreciate the switch lite I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect size for commuting. Easy to carry in its case with charger and games in my backpack. Also it feels sturdier for portable usage because it’s one solid unit. It’s more comfortable for long term handheld because it’s slightly smaller than the switch. We have a full size switch for hooking up to the tv and the lite is great for traveling. Plus when the kids fight over playing they each can have their own. I love that it uses the same cartridges unlike old Nintendo portable that requires a separate cartridge. Definitely recommend it.

Coming from a launch-day OG switch, this thing feels just right. It's light but solid, feels less rickety without detachable joy-cons, and the plastic has a great feel/texture. Oh. and a real d-pad, which is sooooo good. It's close to my ideal switch, and it's great.

I dont know a lot about games but my kid seems to love it. I am more of the old school Nintendo games. The Switch seems fun for her and she is able to take it wherever she goes. Purchase at Bet Buy was quick and painless, lol.
