This is an amazing system to get if you don't already own a switch. There is no reason to get the Pokemon Switch Lite other than for the looks. That said, if you don't already have a switch this is a great one to pick up, or if you do have one and want another for dedicated on the go play, this is a great one to pick up. It's lighter, which makes it easier to hold than the old one (you do feel the different) and the D-Pad makes a huge difference when playing 2D games. Did I mention it's super nice to finally have a propper D-Pad? If you already own a Switch and are happy with it and don't want to do what I suggested above, then there is really no reason to buy this.

So amazing to play this all day, it's light and charges fast.

Switch lite has great value for younger kids. The only down side is the joy-cons are not removable. Nintendo has had issues with their joy-cons and replacements or fixes have been needed with prolonged use. This might be difficult for the lite, since they are not removable.

I have a regular switch but this is much better to use on the go. Much lighter, and battery lasts a couple of hours longer.

Kids love it. Has lots of super nes and Nintendo games for free, but have to pay the yearly of $20 which isn't bad.

Purchased for Christmas present for my Grandson. He can carry it off to school without having to worry about all the extra parts to carry. Since kids are locked in at College he will have something for a little fun besides studying. Purchased him several new games to take with him and a case to carry it in.
