Bought it for our 4yr old as a Christmas gift. So he hasn’t used it yet but he has tried it in store. The smaller form factor of the Switch Lite is easier for him to play with it. Also the fact it comes in one piece without the removable joycons like the normal Switch is better for smaller kids, i.e. less prone to damage/failure. I would still recommend to buy a protective case for accidental drops, a screen protector to prevent scratches and a carrying case for travelling with all the games and the charger.

If you are looking to buy a Nintendo Switch but really don't want to spend a crazy amount of money, go with the Lite. The console is attractive and feels light and easier to fit in the hands. The display is slightly smaller and does not have the ability to be displayed on the TV but if you are like me and enjoy playing directly on the console, this is the better option. It also does not have removable joy cons, which i enjoy. They don't die like with the original one. I highly recommend!

Purchased the switch for my nephew and he loves it! It’s easy for him to operate and great for keeping him entertained while we’re traveling. I ordered it and it was delivered the next day. Great customer service and speedy delivery. It doesn’t get any better than that!

I like this is a console in your hand and when I first saw it I never had a Nintendo switch before so I just bought it and had fun, I gave it away to someone because he didn't had nothing to play with and I can buy this again so

The Nintendo Swith Lite is a great portable gaming device. Fun on the go with most of the functionality of the Nintendo Switch cosole. The only things is that the contollers dont detach so there are some games that might not be playable on the Nintendo Switch Lite. Be sure to check the game requiremnets before buying games for the Nintendo Switch Lite.

The Lite is a decent portable system if you have never used a regular Switch and have no idea about its features, most of which are missing here. It cannot dock to a TV, the screen is small and average quality, it has poor battery life, worse sound, no rumble, no kickstand, and the joy cons can’t be removed for local multiplayer. But you know, aside from all THAT it’s pretty okay. It’s a frustrating handheld because the buttons are actually far better than the normal Switch’s joy cons, and it’s lighter in the hands, yet it’s worse in just about every other area. It makes you wish you could just take those buttons and put them on a regular Switch, or the OLED. I’m not sure why Nintendo doesn’t update their joy cons with these better buttons. It makes their whole Switch lineup maddening because no matter which Switch you use, your experience will be lacking compared to another model. There is no perfect Switch, not even when you factor in third party accessories. So have fun with that I guess!

Bought this for my granddaughter she lives it. I like that it’s perfect size for her to take it were ever she goes. Plenty of games she can choose from.

I have had many game systems in the past, but the Switch Lite may be my favorite. It is conveient to just sit down almost anywhere and play a game without the need to be tied to a TV. The battery life has been great as well as the durability. I use headphones but the build in speakers aren't too bad. There are many games to choose from in almost every genre.

I own both a Switch and a 3DS. Recently, my wife has been hogging up the Switch due to COVID and Animal Crossing; so I picked up this little guy since I play my Switch in handheld mode most of the time anyways. I have to say, this is the best portable game system I've owned yet. It's so light weight and pocketable, yet as powerful as the regular Switch. I was concerned that the screen would be too small for me but so far I haven't had any problem with it, if anything, the display is sharper due to the pixels being more packed into a smaller display. This is the perfect marriage of a Switch and a 3DS.
