Disappointed!! Got this Oled Switch on April 28 and it already is giving me issues. The left controller no longer connects and is giving me issues playing hand held. The device doesn't detect the left joycon.

Horrible green screen issue. I exchanged it for another one and the issue was even worse. Guess ill be waiting a few months before i try to get one again.

This Nintendo Switch is a very pretty device. The intricate designs on both the docking station, the detachable controllers and even the console itself are mesmerizing. The device itself performs great and looks great. This model has a few features that make it stand out from older switch models. For one, the OLED screen is very good. The colors are rich and bright across the whole screen. Secondly, the included dock has a built in Ethernet port, for a wired connection to the internet, which the original Switch lacked. Overall, I bought this about 6 weeks ago and have used it for almost 150 hours and couldn't be happier.

I’ve had a switch since 2017 and I’ve been curious about if a slightly upgraded version is worth the price and it definitely is. Every little enhancement makes it worth the upgrade if you play your switch a lot. From the better kickstand, the slightly bigger screen that makes all the difference, to the brighter OLED screen, and the longer battery. Not to mention the design for this edition is really nice and feels good to hold. If you’re contemplating getting a new switch or if this your first one, definitely do it

Pros: screen(oled), design, speed Cons: storage, joy-con drift Upgraded to oled screen since I play handheld mostly. Very content with speed and resolution. Storage is norm for switch. Experienced first ever joy-con drift on the switch with this model never had this problem with my previous. First time I just detached joycon and reattached and it fixed it, second time I had to do a hard reset. Gonna try calibrating joycons and hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Beautiful system. The soft plastic back feels nice and the design is gorgeous. The dock looks great on my shelf. The screen is beautiful, so much brighter than the original Switch, with deeper blacks. When I first heard of this updated model, I thought that it wouldn't be worth it. Seeing it in person changed my opinion. A Nintendo Switch OLED model is a must have for a beautiful gaming experience on the go. While I recognized the superiority of the OLED model, I was still satisfied with my original switch. Then the Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom edition came out and I had to buy it. With the improved quality of the OLED model and the gorgeous artwork on the Switch and dock, I couldn't pass this up. The joycons look great too! Now, I'm comparing this to other Nintendo Switch models. If you're considering this system versus other brands, know what you're in for. If you want to game on the go, and love Nintendo games, this is it. If you want to play online multiplayer on the couch, an XBox or PlayStation might be the way to go. The switch is fantastic for games on the go, fun family games, and a great catalog of Indy games, but it is an aging system. Rumors are that there might be a new Nintendo console coming in 2024, and products like the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally are like befier Switches, but with a full PC experience and wider game catalogs (albeit no Nintendo games). In conclusion, if you know you want a Switch, you know you want Nintendo games, and you don't want to wait for a rumored new Nintendo console, get this. If you want a larger library, a more powerful machine, and don't care about Nintendo games, consider other options.

I have the first gen of the Switch and now the Switch OLED TOTK Limited Edition. This console is very well made and thought out. From the details on the dock, to the back of the console all the way to the joy cons. Its beautiful in all aspects of the word. The Switch OLED is definitely an upgrade to the first gen Switch. The screen is bigger, brighter and cleaner. The Switch OLED is meant for you to use it on the go. When connected to your TV there is no difference in quality. I just want to make that very clear. I know allot of people that think that getting the OLED versus the regular Switch, they're hoping for better graphics on your TV. No. That isn't the case. This outputs 1080p just like the regular Switch. The change is seen on the consoles screen itself. This is what you're paying extra for. Back to the TOTK edition. All in all, if you're a Zelda fan this is definitely a must have. If you're not but you enjoy unique and cool looking things. Then this one is for you too. If you just want a plain and modern shell, then just grab the regular OLED. Also let me make sure to be very clear. Tears Of The Kingdom console does NOT include the game. So if you're buying this for yourself or as a gift and you want to play TOTK, make sure to buy a copy of the game when you get this. The game is not included. I hope you find my review helpful. I upgraded from the very first switch and do not regret my decision at all. The screen quality, battery life, storage, speediness, and kickstand are all upgrades compared to my previous console. I'm a big LoZ fan so this was another contributing factor in my decision to upgrade as well! 10/10 recommend! The joycons and dock are beautiful with their design reflecting the Zonai markings from the game.

I had the original Switch and saw no reason to upgrade, until Nintendo announced this magnificent beast. I wanted it because it looked cool, and I reasoned that I never upgraded to the OLED model, so I was valid in purchasing it. I didn't think that the OLED would really be an upgrade, but golly does that screen look nicer. It is bigger, brighter, and the rest of the system itself is gorgeous.

Bought this TOTK OLED switch on behalf of my roommate. It's a handsome system. Definitely a luxury item and while I would happily recommend it for a first time switch buyer I wouldn't upgrade if you currently already have a switch. This specific model is gorgeous and the dock and controllers are packed with detail. I especially love the detailed Tri Force on the dock which also has the symbols of the three Hylian Goddesses. Despite the screen being the main marketing point for the OLED, I find the best feature for the OLED models is actually the superior kick stand. Unlike the thin stick on the OG model, OLED switches have an entire backing plate that folds out. This makes OLED the ideal console for players who intend to travel with their switch and use it in tabletop mode. As far as actual gaming, there has been no discernable difference between the OLED's performance and that of a standard switch. However, the battery is slightly more efficient. The only problem I have with the OLED is that the cartridge holder does not close as easily as the OG model. This is a minor issue but there have been times where I've noticed the cartridge lid slightly pops up if I'm not careful. If you plan to exclusively use the console in its docked set up and are not a LOZ mega fan you will be just as happy with the cheaper, standard switch. However, if you can afford this OLED model I do find it to be the overall superior product.

I got this to finally uograde from the launch edition switch. The uograde was well worth it considering theres no telling when we are gonna get a switch 2. The screwn is bright and vibrant, and the battery life is a huge uograde. Omthe zelda themed designs are nice. Overall this is a great switch and looks fantastic.

Upgrading to an OLED switch is a game changer if you use the Switch in Handheld mode, you really feel the LED screen and the size of the screen, it makes it much more enjoyable as well as the better battery life compared to some of the old switch models. And of course, the special edition is beautiful to look at.

I had high expectations for this switch since I heard many good things about the OLED models, but I was surprised the difference the screen makes when playing games in handheld mode. The screen is noticeably larger and very clear, with vivid colors. There are also many other small adjustments and improvements made that make the OLED switch feel more premium than the original model, such as the sleeker fan vent, larger stand, and a better designed dock. Now when considering the Tears of the Kingdom print on the Switch, I was surprised yet again. The print is very nice and I could tell the effort went into its design where you can see how the designs were drawn to fit the buttons. The print is not only beautiful, but also feels nice to the touch and not too fragile. Despite being a special print, I don't feel discouraged from carrying it with me as long as I have a case to store it in when I am not using it. Overall a very good product.

Upgraded from the original switch. Love the OLED screen and the longer battery life. I play it a lot more in portable mode because of how nice it is. The Zelda Tears of the Kingdom graphics make it look really nice to. Was able to pick it up the morning it was released. Thank you
