This OLED Switch, this is a very nice upgrade. The screen is a tad bigger than than the non-OLED variant but the clarity and color contrast is where youll see a massive improvement. If you plan to play your Switch in handheld mode, it is worth the upgrade. If you dock the console and play on your TV, then just stick to your old Switch. If you dont own a Switch, it is a no brainer to buy an OLED switch for 50 bucks more. Obviously it wouldve been nice to include the game and have an extra in game perk, but this console design is beautiful. The kick stand is also much improved as well as battery life. Im glad I upgraded from the older Switch Version and have ZERO regrets doing so.

Horrible green screen issue. I exchanged it for another one and the issue was even worse. Guess ill be waiting a few months before i try to get one again.

I’ve had a switch since 2017 and I’ve been curious about if a slightly upgraded version is worth the price and it definitely is. Every little enhancement makes it worth the upgrade if you play your switch a lot. From the better kickstand, the slightly bigger screen that makes all the difference, to the brighter OLED screen, and the longer battery. Not to mention the design for this edition is really nice and feels good to hold. If you’re contemplating getting a new switch or if this your first one, definitely do it

Upgrading from the launch version of the switch to this was a tough decision. There’s no hardware difference other than the larger, better screen and a better battery life. However, making the decision was easy. The design is great. The joycons are responsive and the dock looks phenomenal. I’m looking forward to using this switch in handheld mode more often.

I got this to finally uograde from the launch edition switch. The uograde was well worth it considering theres no telling when we are gonna get a switch 2. The screwn is bright and vibrant, and the battery life is a huge uograde. Omthe zelda themed designs are nice. Overall this is a great switch and looks fantastic.

Amazing screen! Really enjoy playing on the new OLED and that size difference is noticeable. The awesome Zelda themed dock also has USB ports on the side, very useful! I also prefer the wider base kick stand. Really looks Nintendo did their best to improve most of the frustrating nitpicking from the non-OLED.

I didn't use my original switch in handheld mode very often, but this has changed that significantly. The slightly larger screen, beautiful OLED picture and longer battery life are all welcome additions. Love the look of the console and joy-cons as well.

Listen….this OLED is for those who really care about Zelda or have nostalgia with the series. Pros: -Ethernet port (if you have unstable wifi, this will help) -OLED screen is so nice when playing in hand held mode - design is gorgeous Cons: - price point is steep for not that much improvement from standard switch. Final opinion: If you love this series or have big Zelda nostalgia then join me and get it. If you’re on the fence or don’t have as much spare income to splurge, then I’d wait for the upgraded switch console whenever it comes out. Ultimately I have 0 regrets and have thoroughly enjoyed playing on it I really love it but if you’re on the fence, you might wanna wait till the Switch upgrades. First of all, this console is beautiful. I pre ordered it and picked it up in store, and I was blown away by just the box. The OLED screen looks so much more vibrant than the LCD display, and with the addition of vibrant colors and beautiful designs, this switch is a must for anyone looking to add more flare to their setup/collection. Unfortunately, the switch's internals are almost 7 years old at this point and while it hides it's age amazingly well and is a blast to use, people still should be aware this is a system honed in on game enjoyment, not specs.

I’ve owned several Switch consoles, but the Tears of the Kingdom Edition is easily the most beautiful. The attention to detail is incredible, from the glossy white dock adorned with the gold Hylian Crest to the intricate patterns on the back of the console itself. The gold Joy-Cons with their unique green and white accents look even better in person than they do in photos. What can I say besides "this switch is just beautiful". But I'll still try to explain why. The screen is bigger, brighter, and more vivid then the OG while the battery feels like it lasts much longer. The new design of the (real) kickstand is much better with it taking up the length of the switch and offering more angles. The thing that really tips the scales is the look. The amazing looking dock with the gold and white along with matching controllers just looks so good on my shelf. Combined that with the textured pattern on the back that looks great while adding some extra functionality in the form of extra grip so its less slippery and that combination is a real winner.

We were lucky eniugh to pick this up locally in person on release day! Beautifully designed console, amazing game. Long battery life and easy to set up and use. My husband picked me up one for myself, and we use the family plan to play with all of our friends. Great buy!
