My launch-day switch's vents were starting to crack and the fan was getting loud so I decided to upgrade. The upgraded screen, kickstand, internal storage and speakers make this the definitive version of the console. With the improved battery life, I find myself playing handheld way more than I did with the original.

Pretty. Bigger screen. Nifty design and I like the gold controllers a lot more than the primary colored options. I have a switch lite and I like the way it feels in my hands, but this feels sturdier and the screen on the OLED is so much sharper. I bet it would be awesome for watching movies if you're traveling too.

I bought this Legends of Zelda TOTK console because of the stylish look and mostly so I could play the latest Zelda game. I’ve been impressed by the size and quality of this Nintendo Switch compared to prior versions. The battery life is excellent.

Its a beautiful system. The Oled switch is definitely an improvement over the original switch, better (and slightly larger) screen, better storage at 64gb internal instead of 32gb (though tbh you still will need a micro sd card to expand), a better kickstand on this one as well. Definitely worth getting the Oled if your thinking of picking a Switch up. If your trying to decide on upgrading from an older Switch it depends. If you have the Version 1 switch its definitely worth the upgrade. Upgrading from a Version 2 Switch is a maybe tbh, as really the only thing you'll be upgrading is the screen and a better kickstand. The Screen is great, slightly bigger and better/easier to see if your outside, and the kickstand is just better period compared to the original. If your a massive Zelda fan it may be worth it, and if you play the switch outside a lot its definitely worth the upgrade just for the screen. Otherwise I'd say pass on upgrading and just get it if you need a new one for some reason.

The OLED is definitely a wonderful upgrade from the OG switch with the larger screen and larger memory pool. The design is great too. They definitely put some love into the detailing. If you love Legend of Zelda this will make a great collection piece.

Was on the fence about upgrading until this edition dropped. What a visual delight. Screen size is noticeably bigger, color depth and brightness is stellar, and the design is gorgeous. While the quality of life improvements are exclusive to handheld mode, they are a real upgrade. Would recommend.

I love this switch! It’s so beautifully done with the paint and it works pretty well! I mainly bought this for the game and the design but this was also a MASSIVE upgrade from the Nintendo Switch Lite to the OLED. I highly recommend you do the same whether it’s a regular OLED or a themed OLED.

Great upgrade from the regular switch, the bigger screen and more space is appreciated, plus it has better picture and color quality, the battery last a lot more and I like the new stand. The special design on it is simply perfect.

I was thinking about getting a Switch when this happened to come along. As a first time Switch owner, I think I got lucky with the timing of this one! The design looks better in person, the way the light shines off it is just *chefs kiss*. Screen is big and bright, joy cons have a nice punch when pressing the buttons. It stands nicely with the built in stand, the rubber feet make it feel secure. I do have some gripes tho: 1. When docked, the switch shakes in its stand if the table it's on shakes or gets bumped into 2. A handful of times when turning it on, the switch has a loud motor sound, like it's running on full blast and trying to take off into space. It stops after a few minutes, but being brand new you would think this happens after a year or so of owning it 3. Some online games are slow. The connections inside the game shows green/high ping, but there's lag a lot of times. My wifi is new so not sure why this is happening all the time, unless I just happen to play during high volume times

The OLED screen is amazing on the Switch OLED. I originally thought the Switch would be a console I would nostly play docked except on a long car ride, but the quality of the screen has led me to often play in bed or on the couch, or even in table top mode with the much improved kickstand. As my first Switch, i am extremely happy. As for the extra $10 to get the Tears of the Kingdom edition, the Gold Joycons look amazing, even if the backs are white, and the Zelda decals look better on them in person than in pictures. The dock also looks nice and the switch itself has some decals on the back, it isn't just special joycons on a regular switch with a special dock, it is a true special edition console. It does not come with the game, but Sony and Microsoft have been releasing special edition consoles without games bundled in for a while. However, it would of been nice to get it bundled in since I will just have to wait to play TOTK until I buy my physical copy at a later date.

SO CUTE, SO PRETTY, and obviously I love the Switch. I had the original one so the OLED screen seems so much better to me, so that’s amazing. I bought this mostly so that I could play on the go with the better screen and then have the cute dock, so for the purposes I got it I love it.

Switch OLED, Zelda themed. Until the Switch 2 is announced this is the Switch system to buy. This is the Switch system plus. Better screen, bigger and brighter, network connector, and Zelda prints on system. Could always use more memory but this system does use standard micro SD. Nice!

Absolutely gorgeous looking switch. So pretty anywhere you put it. You can never play it and just have it as decoration and it would work. Handheld mode is where this system truly shines the colors feel like they pop and going back to the old switch kinda seems like a downgrade

This is my second OLED Switch. Such an improvement over the og model. Better build, screen size and battery life. This model is all the better due to the TOTK theme. The controllers and dock are the obvious standouts. The minimal design on the console is also nice. Love it.

A beautiful console! It is so worth it to get one. We have a normal Switch. But the art on this one and OLED screen is amazing. It has double the storage of old Switch we have and it even seems a little faster. We have it next to our TV so everyone can see it. Highly recommend!

Amazing console. The design is very nice and well in line for Zelda fans. The screen is a good improvement over the non-oled version. Very vibrant colors. Only downside is if you already own a regular switch you may not want to get this unless you have the extra disposable income.

Great product, love the design. Weve all been waiting a long time for TOTK and i was still playing on my original launch switch. Upgraded to the zelda Oled and couldnt be happier. Joy cons make a lot more noise then my broken in ones but no drift after a month of pretty solid use (I do use a pro controller a lot also). Joy cons seem to hold a better connection I dont get the annoying need to reconnect that I would get with my launch switch. The oled screen is AMAZING and absolutely worth the upgrade. Its a breath of fresh air to my switch library. Side note I bought a marseille mclassic which I plugged into my switch and it upscales all my games but I got it mainly for TOTK, so I can play zelda at 1440p on my monitor and it is a huge upgrade - the past 2 or 3 years Ive played botw on pc at 4k so the 1080p was killing me. Anyways awesome switch for a zelda fan and absolutely worth the upgrade if your on the fence!!!

The oled model of the Nintendo Switch really is the only one to buy. A gorgeous screen, completely portable. Add Zelda to it and you have a perfect gaming companion. This is by far my favorite purchase this year. Also the battery life is really good on this one.

After owning the original Nintendo Switch since release, the screen on this version is something else. The extra screen size is a plus. Colors are vibrant and screen is very bright. Love the white with gold aesthetic. Hopefully Nintendo keeps oled for the next console.

I didn't use my original switch in handheld mode very often, but this has changed that significantly. The slightly larger screen, beautiful OLED picture and longer battery life are all welcome additions. Love the look of the console and joy-cons as well.
