An awsome switch console. Cant go wrong with a nod to zelda

Get it while you can. If your a Zelda fan, and have been waiting to get the Nintendo Switch OLED, this is it. The screen looks great and the battery life is a lot better than the standard switch. It even has an Ethernet connection on the dock. The internal memory even got an upgrade compared to the original model.

Like most people, I felt there should have been some kind of special edition Switch for BOTW. Given that the console was literally just coming out, it was understandable though. Flash forward six years and we finally get a Zelda edition console. The gold joycons look great and have good details. The good itself really pops and gives that Zelda flair. It was a little bit of a mixed opportunity not coloring one joycon that teal color though, I felt that would have been amazing (similar with the Zelda pro controller). The console details are nice too. I also wish Nintendo did a totally different style and opted for a white console here, to make it extra special, but the black works. The dock is the real stand-out in this edition. The game/theme specific detailing is just what I wanted here. Overall, it is a must for a Zelda fan. If you’re like me and had the original Switch from release day (or at least the smaller screen version) and you play a lot of handheld, get the OLED and get this edition. Absolutely worth it despite the missed opportunities to truly make it amazing.

Pretty. Bigger screen. Nifty design and I like the gold controllers a lot more than the primary colored options. I have a switch lite and I like the way it feels in my hands, but this feels sturdier and the screen on the OLED is so much sharper. I bet it would be awesome for watching movies if you're traveling too.

This special edition was exactly what I was waiting for to upgrade to an OLED Switch. The designs on the dock, system, and Joy-Cons are very pretty and in line with the aesthetic of the game they're based on and the OLED screen is a clear step up from the base Switch model.

I think if you love Zelda this edition is absolutely beautiful. But be wary, the joycons (mine included) have a clicking sound in some where the analog stick is hitting the railing. So if you love handheld mode just keep this in mind. I love Zelda and had sold my switch years ago so I was excited to pick this up. I was and still will be a docked player so the joycons aren't of much concern for me. If yours does contain the clicking issue I'd just bite the bullet on a pro controller and have a great experience. The OLED screen is fantastic and is for sure an upgrade on the original LCD screen my initial launch Switch had. The best special edition Switch in my opinion. A must buy for Zelda collectors.

The OLED is definitely a wonderful upgrade from the OG switch with the larger screen and larger memory pool. The design is great too. They definitely put some love into the detailing. If you love Legend of Zelda this will make a great collection piece.

Best Nintendo system since the N64. The oled screen is beyond perfect and the style of it is everything my wife was hoping for. There is barely a day that goes by where it is not in use.

This was my upgrade switch after having the first edition launch for a while. Now I must say the larger screen is a nice upgrade and so far my switch barely gets hot after hours of playing while my old switch heats up within 30 minutes. The gold detailing is my absolute favorite part of the switch and dock.

Love the design. The new OLED display is very welcome and also it being a larger screen size. 1 star off because special editions should come with the game like they used to! That’s all.

Was on the fence about upgrading until this edition dropped. What a visual delight. Screen size is noticeably bigger, color depth and brightness is stellar, and the design is gorgeous. While the quality of life improvements are exclusive to handheld mode, they are a real upgrade. Would recommend.

If you have a switch already, you onow what your arw getting. The oled screen is nicer than my tv and I can tell the difference now . The one difference and was the bug selling point for me was the beautiful zelda markings on the joucons and the back. If you are a zelda fan, you will love this

Great upgrade from the regular switch, the bigger screen and more space is appreciated, plus it has better picture and color quality, the battery last a lot more and I like the new stand. The special design on it is simply perfect.

Bought it to go along with my first gen Switch. And for the better oled screen. A lot better on the eyes.

This has to be my favorite looking switch. Its very simple yet pops and stands out. I love the design on the dock looks very nice. The joy con sticks are my favorite, they arent gold but the finish and sparkly look make it look like its gold. Very beautiful and elegant. So glad i was able to pick one up.

Was definitely an upgrade from the original model of the nintendo switch. We love the screen size and the quality in the graphics. Bonus points for being a Zelda themed console. Do wish that it came with the game or pro controller! Still a good purchase and we love our new switch!

Reservation process was soooo much smoother than the Deluxe Collectors set had been. Extremely happy to have gotten this. The OLED model in general is soooo pretty and crisp in handheld mode, makes me want to get an OLED TV/Monitor to continue enjoying it. The base station is much more efficient with cable management than gen 1 Switch, with USB accessible from the outside. The decals have a soft matte white plastic that is nice to the touch with the gold details giving off a subtle metallic shine that just (as a hugely biased Zelda fan) feels so good to look at. The back of the switch design has a very subtle texture, and the mounting kick-stand for the screen is wide-set and feels very secure at any angle it’s propped at. A little disappointed that the OLED model in general does not have any upgrades internals aside from slight more on-board memory and the better screen, but my reason for purchasing this particular device was not because it was OLED. All in all, I got exactly what I wanted and air looks even better in person.

I love this switch! It’s so beautifully done with the paint and it works pretty well! I mainly bought this for the game and the design but this was also a MASSIVE upgrade from the Nintendo Switch Lite to the OLED. I highly recommend you do the same whether it’s a regular OLED or a themed OLED.

Need i say more? Its a Switch OLED, same as it always has been, but the design on this console is gorgeous. I’d even go as far as possibly saying this TOTK OLED model isn’t just the prettiest Switch, but the prettiest Nintendo console they’ve ever made. Pictures do not do this piece of tech justice.
