||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a switch already from the day one. Got this for the zelda edition. it is a great upgrade, let alone the beautiful zelda design on the dock, console, and joy-cons. the OLED is no joke, looks wonderful compared to my original switch. Great addition to the Zelda Franchise
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been wanting a Zelda themed switch and nintendo did not disappoint. The details are nicely etched throughout the console and the dock gives it the ultimate finish. If you dont have a OlED switch and are looking for a reason to get one, this is it.

Amazing system!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This switch is fantastic. I upgraded from the original switch to this one, and the screen is much better, the battery life is longer. The kickstand is actually usable. The design is an added bonus as it is yet another beautiful zelda console.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second switch before i had the original switch gen 2 with the better battery, but i hated the screen bezels there were big and always tuck away from the gaming experience for me when playing handheld, and i most play my switch on the go, so for me i decided id upgrade and i made the best decision in the world i love the new screen, its better than most phone screens the OLED switch definitely is much brighter than the orginal screen and no more big black bezels, but my favorite part of the new switcg is the new stand, it gas unlimited amount of pitches and allows you to get the perfect setup with out ut the switch falling like the original switch would, I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone buy the original switch spend the extra $50 and get the best version as it will stand the test of time

For Zelda fans or Those looking to upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re on the fence about the Switch OLED, it’s time to fall off that fence. This is especially true if you like to play in handheld mode as the OLED screen makes of world of difference when playing on-the-go. Brighter colors, clearer images, sharper quality, it’s definitely worth the purchase. Then, as a Zelda fan, the stylistic choices in the controller and console skins really makes the system distinct. The gold finish and textured design really make the joycons pop while the subtle texture on the back of the console reduce the fear of the system slipping out of your hands. The dock still uses the OLED white as its base, but has a beautiful gold texturing to add that Zelda charm. The OLED dock also has a built in Ethernet port, a great advantage for those of us that game online. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase.

Upgraded from a regular Switch to the Zelda OLED
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OLED screen is a nice improvement over the original Switch and the speakers are better quality in handheld/tabletop mode. More storage out of the box too. Easy to set up. The kickstand on the back extends the whole length and is much sturdier than the original Switch. The cartridge slot on top is a bit harder to open. The Zelda design is a big plus for me and it works great so far! It costs more than a regular Switch because of the larger screen, more storage and the dock has a built-in Ethernet port under the panel in the back. It also costs a bit more than the 'standard' Switch OLED but worth it if you're a Zelda fan looking to upgrade to the OLED model or getting your first Nintendo Switch! Also, the game isn't included (no physical game or digital voucher) so this is just the standard console, dock, joycons, cables.

Beautiful limited edition of OLED model
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our third Switch, got the first gen on release date, and a lite for my son when that model came out. Was always intrigued by the OLED model, but I couldn't justify spending more on a console that may be on its last legs. Im glad I held off on getting that model, because when i saw the limited edition Zelda model, I knew it was Time to pull the trigger. The console itself is beautifully decorated in Zelda motiff especially the dock. It's now the centerpiece of my console collection. The screen is a huge upgrade over the original model, and colors are more vivid, blacks are deep, image quality is greatly improved over previous models. The only con I have is the console doesn't include the game, for the price, it feels like Nintendo could've at least added a digital version of the game pre installed.

The best looking Switch ever designed.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is beautiful. The dock shines nicely in the light, and has a nice soft feel to it. The Joy-Cons are also shiny and have a nice sparkle to them. I love the back of the tablet. It’s simple, and looks fantastic with the Joy-Cons attached. I’m more than happy with this special edition Switch OLED and can’t wait to play Tears of the Kingdom on it in just two weeks!

Pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Joy-cons, dock and console all feature a Tears of the Kingdomthesed pattern and they all look great. Other than that its the same OLED switch thats been around for a few years: good battery life, better kickstand and better screen.

Perfect on the go action
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OLED screen makes for a brighter experience anywhere you go. With Bluetooth capability now onboard, you are even more comfortable. Less wires, more action! I bought it the same day it released Early morning before work and picked it up locally at a best buy nearby after the day was done. Walked right in and they had it waiting for me, no fuss at all.

Immaculate design
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better design compared to original switch. Kickstand actually works, screen is besutiful, body is designed with metal instead of solid plastic. Oversll much better improvement over the original switch or the switch lite.

Great for Zelda Fans/Collectors
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, let’s first address the main issue. A new Switch, 6 years into the console’s lifecycle, can be a hard sell. While it’s not the Pro/Switch 2 many people (including myself) wanted, it is still a quality device, especially if you haven’t yet upgraded to an OLED model (and if you play in handheld mode at all). The screen looks fantastic and is a marked improvement over the original Switch. The texture pattern on the back of the console is subtle and looks great. And the Joy-Cons, while not my favorite design, accent well and add to the overall Zelda aesthetic with the characteristic gold. Everything else is business as usual for what you’d expect from your Nintendo Switch, just a little cooler looking.

The best Switch you can buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously owned an original Nintendo Switch. If you're primarily playing docked, there is no reason to upgrade to this model. If you play handheld, this is a substantial upgrade in both sound and visuals. The screen is larger and looks much more crisp and vibrant and more responsive, and the new speaker array is great. There has also been some slight structural changes that makes the joycons much more sturdy in handheld mode with much less flex and that loose feeling. The styling and colors are beautiful and pop, everything is well put together and the details on the special edition do not look or feel cheap or slapped together. This is the best special edition Switch that has been released in my opinion, but looks are subjective.

Best design ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design of this Switch HAS to be the best they've ever released! The white and Gold dock, to the nice matte gold Joycons! Even the back with a subtle circular Zonai style design and its softened feel for a but more of a gripier feel is top notch! Combined with the OLED screen is a must have for any Zelda Fanatic. The look it gives on a properly set up gaming station or even just astheticly(sp) gives it that extra kick. As a con because i dont want to seem like its all good. I have noticed a break in connection with the joycons being separated if the system is blocked (I have it mounted behind my TV due to a handsy toddler) but a Pro Controller beats that issue.

Massive Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the first run Nintendo Switch since launch. I hadn’t upgraded until I saw the Tears of the Kingdom edition for the Switch OLED. Overall, such a massive upgrade. Runs so much more smoothly and works with my TV. My original Switch would constantly cut out when docked. The battery life is great and handheld mode feels like night and day. If you have been looking to upgrade you Switch I highly recommend getting and OLED model. Transferring between the consoles was a little tricky at first. You do have to redownload all games even if you’re moving your SD card over to the new model. Definitely recommend following a guide.
