I received the Limited Edition Tears of the Kingdom OLED as a lovely graduation gift. The detail and design on the back of the switch, as well as the dock and joycons is beautifully made. The OLED provides great performance and graphics, a huge improvement from the original model of the Nintendo Switch. I would highly recommend this product to any Legend of Zelda fans who enjoy Nintendo’s products.

Very nice details, works the same as any oled but the beauty is the special design. I pre ordered as soon as it was available thinking it was not going to be availabe (like some other special edition consoles in the past) but I’ve seen them in the “wild” as well in stock online, I’m happy for everyone that couldn’t pre order on day one and also happy because nintendo is taking steps to fight scalpers and bots

Beautiful graphics game play no lags no glitches I have had no issue what so ever if you wanna play on the go or with friends this is definitely worth it not only is it a oled its a ZELDA OLED TOO so worth my money

Other than the updated screen this performs pretty much the same as a launch Switch. The internals haven't been updated so don't expect performance improvements beyond the screen looking nicer and being a little bigger due to a smaller bezel. I played the new Legend of Zelda on this and my launch Switch and noticed the same frame rate dips on both consoles. I would definitely recommend this if you are just getting into the Switch ecosystem but an OLED Switch probably isn't worth it as a replacement for a current Switch, unless you really want a nicer screen and, in the case of this Zelda edition, are a big fan of the series. Honestly, the nicest improvement, after the screen, is the kickstand, which is 100% better than the dinky little thing on the original Switch. I just wish Nintendo had actually made the effort to improve the internals as the components are definitely showing their age.

If you’re a fan of the Nintendo Switch, The Legend of Zelda Series…or just a console collector- You’ll love this special edition system! The Legend of Zelda Special Edition Console is incredibly detailed, great design and color scheme. The dock and joy-cons match perfectly and just in time for Tears of the Kingdom. If you’ve been on the fence about buying a Switch OLED, make this your next purchase!

I never thought I would get a OLED switch but I am so glad a Zelda version came out. Its collectable, its a gorgeous model with striking white and gold, and functionally is better than the switch I had. The screen size is nice. I stress tested it with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and had a blast. Can't wait for the release of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom but this is definitely the console to play it with style.

Bought this as a gift for my partner, and she loves it. She had the original switch from release and the battery life has improved a lot with this model. The kickstand for it is so much better I dont know how we dealt with the original one. I do agree with others though if you plan on using it plugged into your tv, it’s probably not what youre looking for, I would just go with the original model.

I had the original Switch and saw no reason to upgrade, until Nintendo announced this magnificent beast. I wanted it because it looked cool, and I reasoned that I never upgraded to the OLED model, so I was valid in purchasing it. I didn't think that the OLED would really be an upgrade, but golly does that screen look nicer. It is bigger, brighter, and the rest of the system itself is gorgeous.

As someone who the original switch I can verify if you play primarily in handheld mode, the oled is worth the upgrade. Between that and being able to connect my AirPods, I am one happy camper. Only thing I can’t really speak to are the joycons, I haven’t used those yet simply because I don’t want to ruin the artwork on them. The dock is also a thing of beauty. Truly satisfied with this purchase.

The art on the system is fantastic and it looks so great on the shelf. The system itself is such a step up from the standard system, as long as you're someone who plays in handheld mode often. The handheld screen is stunning in OLED and the increased screen real estate is really noticeable. I definitely recommend it, especially if you have a standard system still and enjoy playing on the go.

I really love this console. It has the best graphics for the games I play, and it's beautiful in every way. My only complaint is that the storage is smaller than I hoped. If it came with the Zelda SD extra storage card it would have been great.

It's an OLED switch they're amazing! I love this special edition! The gold and the filigree Zelda designs are so fire in person. The matching base all just look great! My only complaint is it doesn't come with the game included. I realized this after buying it and it was a bit disappointing but i was still like it's the best looking one and it's still an amazing system so 5/5 regardless

This is my first oled switch and wanted to upgrade. The screen is vibrant and really pops the colors and the blacks. The screen is good but the console itself is a beauty. The design of everything really makes it look elegant. The way the gold pops off the white dock and the design of everything is great. I would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade or get a switch for the first time.

I've been using the same classic Switch for ages and never felt the need to upgrade to the new OLED, even though my battery life has been pretty meh(due to my own mistakes!). The gorgeous design sold me, especially with the game coming out soon. I love this thing! It's so pretty and works like a dream. The process of moving over to the new Switch from my old one was smooth and painless.

OLED switch looks amazing with breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom, only weird thing is the joycons joysticks make a very low clicking noise when rotating around other than that the OLED switch is much better choice for a handheld than the others.

I owned the basic switch model pretty much since lunch never really felt like I wanted to upgrade but after seeing how good this console looks, I had to do it and it definitely does not disappoint. The oled screen is amazing and the design of the console just looks spectacular definitely a must have for any Zelda fan

Excellent console. The larger OLED screen is worth a look it makes the Switch feel brand new. The console itself looks beautiful with the patterning on the back of the screen. The controllers are standard JoyCons. I recommend using an old pair to keep these in pristine condition. The dock design is beautiful and works just like the original Switch.

This is first Nintendo console I’ve had since 3DS and it’s a lot of fun. Played Mario+Rabbids on it and it looks good and brings me back to being a kid on the DS. Never played Zelda before or know much about it but the design looks nice. Can’t wait to play Tears of the Kingdom on it. Only drawback is how slow the eshop is but that doesn’t take away from the performance and look.

I held off on getting a Switch until now just for this design alone. Games are great and it plays smoothly just expect any games not published by Nintendo to likely run 30fps with graphic downgrades compared to other consoles. If you enjoy downloading all your games as well you will need to get a memory card to go with it. If you play physical you should be good to go. That being said the Switch has some of the best games in my book like Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Metroid Prime to name a few. In summary the Switch has great quality games worth playing for sure if they park your interest but will not blow your mind when it comes to graphics or tech. The portability is great for on the go gaming. Nintendo published games almost always stay up in price so I recommend renting physical when possible personally before buying if you’re on a budget.

If you are buying a new switch, OLED is the way to go, the price difference is not enough to justify NOT getting an OLED for how much nicer it feels and the battery life. For those that have a switch and play solely on TV, you dont have as much reasoning to upgrade If you play handheld during travel or times like that, the OLED is a nice upgrade from the original switch.
