As someone who has owned various models of the switch over the years from the lite to the animal crossing edition, this is by far the best and the one I see myself keeping. The OLED is well beyond the upgrade that I thought it would be.Also owning a Steam Deck, I can say the battery life on this Switch is quite impressive comparitively speaking.No doubt this is the Switch to buy if this is your first time owning one or coming back to the system like myself. Very happy with this purchase.

The zelda finish is a cool touch! Battery does great in handheld game play and the screen was bigger then i expected.

I was upgrading from a launch Switch, so the screen is the main reason I bought this. The Zelda styling is great though. Id probably get this even if I already owned an OLED Switch. It looks absolutely fantastic. The gold joycons truly sparkle! They remind me if the gold from the original NES Zelda cartridge so there's a bit of a nostalgic touch there for old fans to embrace. This is one you'll want to save the box for or even buy and extra to keep tucked away in all it's unopened glory!

Very good switch, OLED looks way better than the LCD screen, and the screen is better. Zelda design is so awesome

Its a really nice print on it. Only thing which is not best buys fault is the joycon I got with this one has that weird springy sound in the sticks and I thought it was only something with the switch lite since 2 of mine have that sound and none of my joycons do with the 6 or so switches I have had. But great print on this switch. I still really like the way the white switch looked and not sure how the design of this switch will tie into the game but I will find out tomorrow I guess.

The OLED screen looks phenomenal. A while ago we bought LG C2 OLED TVs and finally pulled the plunge on the Swith OLED as well - it looks so, so much better than the original's LCD, and the TOTK design looks absolutely beautiful. Having 64GB vs the original 32GB and included LAN adapter is a nice touch as well, though I've never had an issue with WiFi on the original model (or this one). Having said that, if you are in the market for a Switch, this is hands down the one to get.

Absolutely love this Switch. The special edition for ToTK looks amazing and the OLED screen compared to the regular switch screen is a huge improvement for me. I find myself playing and preferring handheld more than docking it to the tv. I have large hands, so having the new 7” screen suits my needs a lot more than the Lite (which is what i upgraded from). All in all, I highly recommed the OLED model if you’re a first time Switch buyer or if upgrading from a Switch Lite.

For the Zelda fans out there. If you do not already own a Switch, this is a fantastic purchase. The OLED is fantastic and the games runs smoothly. You can also proudly display the artistic dock next to your tv or monitor. Remember, the dock only outputs at 1080p max so you will need a 3rd party upscaler for 1440p or 4K displays. You may also want to invest in the Pro Switch Controller as the Joy Cons can feel a bit small. The console does not include TOTK.

I think this is a fantastic upgrade from the regular switch,, and this is a very good console for Zelda fans. If you want more details on the switch oled console, check out my Splatoon 3 switch review.

I love my Zelda switch At times I just take a minute to admire how pretty it is. It’s a switch of course so the performance is alright But it’s Zelda and I love it

I’ve had the 1st gen switch for 6.5 years now. I figured with the launch of Tears of the Kingdom, I’d finally upgrade. Very glad I did. I have read mixed reviews about the OLED in general, but no issues so far. The screen size between the two does not seem like a lot, but for people like me who rarely dock the console its a really nice difference. The print on the dock itself is worth the upgrade, even if you never use it. Highly recommend.

I have only ever had my release day, 2017, Switch... until now. I never thought anything could make me want a second Switch since mine works perfectly fine, but this Limited OLED was just too beautiful to pass up. The level of detail on the dock is incredible, the white and gold was a magnificent choice. I also love the embossed feel of the design on the back of the console. All around, this is the best Limited Release Switch they have ever done.

If you're looking to pick up this special edition Nintendo Switch system, its probably pretty certain that you happen to be a Zelda fan. The type of fan who is also a collector who wants to own every type of merchandise related to the long running franchise. If this is the case, this particular hardware variant won't disappoint you. Sure, there is one pretty big compromise that you have to live with, and that particular compromise is that this particular system does not come with the newest game in the series. Unfortunately, this is a separate purchase. You will have to buy the game as well. But the real eye candy here is the design of the hardware included with this set that should speak to all Zelda fans. As you open the box, you can probably hear that familiar musical ditty that accompanies the opening of a treasure chest on most titles of the series. That's just how you'll feel as you explore the contents within. Not only are the Joy-cons themselves themed like the game in question, but the dock and back of the system itself also have the same vibe. The dock itself features a Tri-Force design which matches the theme of "Tears of the Kingdom" The back has a similar motif which compliments the whole feel of this particular piece of hardware. However, I would recommend some kind of protective cover for the dock as its glossy texture which can easily get scratched. This is the standard Switch OLED system with the special edition design, so only a true Zelda fan will want one. You don't have to buy this, if you already own an OLED model. There is nothing different to stand out, making this particular model different from the others. I sold my white OLED model for this one, and you could too, of you wish to.

It runs smoothly compared to the original switch. Beautiful graphics, and design. Love this oled.
