For the price and convenience of it having an HDMI hookup, this is a good DVD player. However, it has 3 main flaws: 1) Remote buttons lag. I press the buttons on the remote for power or open and it lags significantly. I often press the button again, thinking it didn't recognize the button I pressed, and it then undoes what I just pressed because I pressed it twice. I stand right in front of the DVD player and this happens so it isn't due to interference. 2) Speaking of buttons, there are several buttons on the remote that often do nothing, giving me an invalid key error on the screen. This includes setup, menu, title. Why then are they on the remote if they are this useless? 3) The remote conflicts with my other devices. If I press play on the DVD remote, it turns up the volume on my Vizio 38” 2.1 Sound Bar System (SB3821-C6). I tried programming it with my Logitech Harmony 650 remote and it caused even more conflicts with other devices (LG 50UK6500AUA TV), Roku Ultra). The next button on the DVD remote makes my soundbar do a Bluetooth search, which messes up the volume and causes me to have to get it back connected to my TV. I ended up having to not use the Logitech remote and just use individual remotes, which is very annoying. If you need a basic DVD player, this gets the job done. If you plan on using it regularly and have other devices, be warned that it may conflict with functions on other devices and is not the highest quality. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Worked good the first time I used it! No issues at all. Good picture quality and good audio quality. This was also a great buy, all I needed to buy in addition was a VGA to HDMI converter and it worked great!

Works great for what i wanted it for . And great price to !! Using dvd player for my miroir projector . for halloween , and christmas projection displays. And movies great picture..

I would buy another, great product for the price, small doesn’t take much space up

This was my second try. DVD players serve a bit different purpose now. My first try had mostly mystery buttons. The Sylvania still has some but also does what I need and upgrades to HD as well.

All I needed was a DVD player so my son could watch his movies in his bedroom. Nothing fancy, it’s compact and gets the job done. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a basic DVD player that doesn’t take up much space.

Great Value! I bought this because my wife was constantly having problems getting my high-end Blue Ray player to work. Even I had days when it would not cooperate. It was so high tech they forgot to put a power indicator light on the front. Bought this bargain DVD player, figure what did I have to lose at such a cheap price. I hooked it up within 5 minutes and the Christmas Movies (and the Minions) began when the 2 grandkids came over. Remote works, and it even has a Red Power Button that changes to Green when you turn on the power. EXCELLENT. The 9-year grandson can operate it with no problem even. The only question is when did I buy the "Avengers" movie he managed to stick in there?

This DVD player really is not the best. But you get what you pay for, plus it was cheap. It's not horrible by any means but alot of times the remote is real finicky. But I mean for the price I got it at. It's not to bad.

This DVD player works great. My Blu-Ray player was dropped accidentally. I had to purchase a cheap DVD player. So I bought two of these vs buying a more expensive device. Thanks Best Buy for another great product!

Purchased this dvd p;Ayer for my little fellow he is 13 and he loves this dvd player. Purchased it because he had some old movies that he could not watch on his old DVD player so this one allowed him to watch his favorite movies.

Just a basic little DVD player. No bells or whistles but I didn’t need any. HDMI connectivity was a pleasant surprise for such a cheap model. I am satisfied with this purchase.

I was looking for a basic player to put in my workout room so I can watch my older exercise video. This is perfect no complaint. I have had for two weeks and use ever other day. No issues.

Cheap but effective! Worth every penny. All I had to do was buy a HDMI cord to go with this and plug it in and it’s been working amazingly!

I purchased this for a Christmas present from my mom because she loves watching her DVDs. I know she’s going to like this.

Perfect basic DVD player! Nice and easy to use and has the features you need. This is valuable for me in these days of mostly streaming as I do have some DVD's.

I wasn’t expecting a whole lot when I purchased this basic DVD player but was pleasantly surprised by the picture quality. The price was great. We just wanted something basic so the grandkids could enjoy outdoor theater.

It was a gift for my brother he actually wanted a VCR but they quit making them in 2016 so I got him a DVD player & will have his tapes burned onto CDs.

Perect. We needed a low-price option to watch movies and this unit fits the bill perfectly. We've had no issues and I would definitely recommend this.

This small CD player was a lifesaver great price and it worked great for the first couple weeks now it makes a very loud noise when you put the DVD in but it plays perfect and then I was it goes away.
