Purchased because my old one finally died. It lasted a long time. So I figured I could not go wrong with another one.

Bought this plug-and-play unit to be able to view old family videos. So far, it is working very well. The only question is how long will it last?

I purchased this DVD player for my son's room so I was looking for just a basic DVD player and this was 24.99 and in stock. It does the job even though sometimes it glitches but it does the job.

I was not happy that free batteries were not included. My first ever electronic that didn't include them. It moves really slow. I've had a few new disc that gives me error when I put in it. Sometimes i have to press the open/close button a few times before it works. I wouldn't purchase again.

Needed a DVD player as a backup. The DVD player works great and even has connections for older style TVs.

I bought my first DVD player in 1998. I got this one to replace my parents broken on in 2020 because I had had thrown mine out years ago.

Bought item...thought it was easy to use...but Dvd player didn't even work...won't read disc when in it. Not happy

My dad needed a CD player with a remote and when I got him this he was happy and it worked wonderfully

The first one I bought didn’t work, had to exchange it which was a pain, not because of customer service because I had to wait till the next day and go back but the second one works great.

We have always like Sylvania in the past. They have gone down hill. The first one we bought couldn't stop opening/closing door after putting a DVD in. We tried with different DVDs and same thing happened. We returned to BestBuy via UPS, BestBuy received it for 10 days and still no refund. Meanwhile, we bought a replacement unit at store hoping that it was a fluke. Guess what, the 2nd unit accepted DVD and started reading. Amazing huh??? Well, didn't last very long, it started skipping scenes. We returned to local Best Buy store and got refund immediately. Still waiting for refund via UPS. Chatted with Best Buy twice. First operator told us it was our bank but tracking clearly show Best Buy has not finished processing refund. Second said it would take one billing cycle to get refund. This is ridiculous. Very poor customer service as well.

Works well. Easy hook up, no problems. It was recommended for use with a "Smart TV"...

This dvd is hit and miss. I had to send the first one back bc it went out the first day I got it in the middle of movie. The second one is ok. I’ve had the second one since December

The one I bought was returned due to the disc tray was out somewhat (probley during shipping) did work. Hdmi output was better picture than component.

My mom is a novice to technology and this was perfect for her to watch DVDs in her home. She loved it.

Works fine but the red power light stays on all time so I do not like that
