I've tried to get it working, I reread directions which I just happened to have, no dice, finally unplugged in hopes of resetting it but I got nothing. I guess I got what I paid for, a couple date nites...

You get what you pay for

Yes it does the basics poorly and slowly at best. It lags and doesn't remember the settings you already set and saved when you put a new disc in. So if you can overlook the few problems it has it may be worth the twenty you spent.
