It doesn't like to play a lot of videos. It doesn't read them with the smart TV. I would not recommend this player to anyone with a smart tv. This might be something for a young child's first player but that's it. Took it back and got a Sony.

Returned item to store. Movies pixeled with this player and did not on previous player or 2 others in the house. It also would not start DVD where I left off, had to restart movie every time. Hope this helps.

Opened it, plugged it in, and got a no disc error. Tried it on multiple brand new DVDs, with different TVs, and even different outlets. Best Buy is not yet taking returns to the store, so don't risk it during the pandemic!

The price you pay is what you get.... CHEAP. This device broke down within 2 hours of purchase. It makes buzzing noises, you can barely hear the movie and the quality just feels cheap. I would not buy.

This unit played 1 (one) DVD and then nothing :( Returning to the store for exchange & see if it was just an anomaly with just that unit. Other than that, the DVD that it played looked great.

Was not compatible to the application I needed it for. Took it back. Could not get it to play on my TV with adapters and could not get start menu to display. REALLY DISAPPOINTED

I was double charged for my purchase, had to wait days until my refund for the extra charge, and then when I received the DVD player it didn’t work. And it was a gift. Smh. Never again.

We got two of these: First one screen would turn black and skip all through it, brought it back and exchanged it for a second one... It did the same thing but even more often. So finally brought it back for return.

Do not waste ur time it is a very cheap DVD player and doesn’t work for newer type models of TVs I have a 4K roku tv and it wouldn’t play without going black every 2 minutes

I bought two of these. One the picture is constantly messing up. The second one no longer works. It will turn on but not read any dvds I put in it. Avoid at all cost.

Used this Product once. Now wont read any disc's. Tried to call and get atleast an exchange and no one will answer the phones. If I could give zero stars I would .

This was clearly used. I pulled it out of the box and it was worn and scratched! Very disappointed. And have been unable to return it!

DVD player kept skipping upon playback. It would double up and say the same word twice in the movie, almost like it was overlapping itself. Big piece of junk.

Just a little over a month old and it quit working,I won't buy electronics from best buy any longer. They informed me then that it only had a 14 day guarantee.

I got this DVD player got it all hooked up then watched a movie then tried the next day to watch another movie and all it did was click click click click over and over then say no disc in player.

I hooked this up and it does not read DVDs. I even opened a brand new DVD that had never been played before. Still would not play.

What a piece of crap. Bought it 3 weeks ago and only started using it a week ago. Now it’s broken and I’m just a few days out of the return window. DO NOT BUY

Worked OK out of the box but it does not fill widescreen. You have a smaller video with black sides as a display. Tried various video settings but still does not fill the screen.

I was excited to try an affordable modern DVD player. Alas, it does not work. tried with different tvs, different cords, different DVDs. Returning it, aslas

This DVD player was not an ideal purchase. The color quality is extremely poor and very dark, to the point that I can’t comfortably watch anything. Not recommended.
