ghost player, piece of . . . .
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ha ha ha. I should have listened to the recent reviews. Got this today. Put dvd in, wouldn't play. Opened to try another dvd. Then the 'ghost' started, Player opened, . . closed . . opened. . .closed, over and over and over. turned off, unplugged. turned on, opened, closed, opened, closed. . . .I wasn't touching anything. Put back in box to return. 5 or so hours later, i though, "i'll give it another try. maybe it was cold." plugged in, turned on, opened. Went to put a dvd in. Before I could get it out of the case, the dvd drawer closed, opened, closed, opened, closed. Total garbage. HOpe i can get my money back.

Twice bitten

I brought home the first player and the only way it would play is if I stood the player on edge and it would still skip. I used my computer to play a movie to be sure the port and cable were good and it worked perfectly. Today I went to town to return the player and get a new one. As soon as it was hooked up I noticed that it seemed to have a glitch but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Well that is short lived as I’m posting this looking at a frozen frame of a movie. Seems I will be returning this and hopefully finding a workable solution

Defective

The dvd would skip constantly. I played the same movie on another player and it worked so there should have been no problems. On the second day the player shut off by itself without anyone near the player or touching the remote. On the third day, the movie skipped nonstop every couple of seconds. This was not worth the trip to the store. Waste of money and time, you have been warned. I’m surprised Best Buy would even carry this in their store. I am very dissatisfied.

Poor quality control - sylvania. poor support

Went to return to Best Buy. -- They only provide 15 days warranty. Bought a new one anyway. That would not work either . Poor support by best buy. I am very disappointed in them.

Not for me

It stops in the middle of a scene and will not go forward or backward. Right now it is stuck on open and close in until I turn it off it will keep opening and closing. I am heading for the store to return it

Don’t Buy!! It’s junk
