The important thing is it has an HDMI port. I was surprised that the less expensive one in Best Buy didn’t and I had to return it and get this one. It serves the purpose of playing DVDs, but it’s almost impossible to do anything without the remote.

Bought this to attach to a TV I have in my kitchen so I can watch my cooking DVDs. Easy to use and takes up very little space. It's exactly what I was looking for.

If you are in a pinch for a less expensive unit this will do however with 4K TVs the picture seems cut off and the remote doesn’t work easy for me I wind up going manual. I’ll Buy more expensive next time...

Nothing fancy but plays dvds. I like it because it is small in size and it works great. It is exactly what I wanted. Easy to install and use.

The Sylvania worked very well for playing my CD's and DVD's with various formats. It is very reasonably priced, easy to start up and use and it's compact design allows it to fit in tight spaces.

I mean obviously no one is excited about DVD players anymore, but I was very excited when I found a place that still sold them and at such a steal of a price. Works great!

Needed basic DVR to be able to watch DVD's the family had from years back. Have not used it a lot but nice to be able to watch the DVD's the kids had when they were younger.

This DVD player works well. It plays DVD's, which is all I need it to do. The only complaint I have is that it makes some noise while playing (disc spinning), but it's easy to tune out. I can live with it for the price.
