If you're at all into this type of music, you should check out this album. I ended up purchasing it because my phone broke just before a long drive home at night, and I just can't stand the radio, so I went to find a CD. This definitely helped keep me awake for the drive. I definitely enjoyed some of the heavier songs than their usual radio played songs, and there was one really mellow one that made me wonder if I was still listening to the same band, but I enjoyed that one too. Good variety, but it still feels like an album, not just some random songs.

For me, this CD digs up my first memories of the Foo Fighters. This is their second studio album and by the time "I'll Stick Around" was hitting the airwaves, The Colour and the Shape came in shortly thereafter riding on the coattails of the success of "I'll Stick Around". I can't say that this is their best album, because it seems that the Foo FIghters were still figuring out who they were, but there are some great early songs on this album that led to where they are today. Most notably "Monkey Wrench" and "My Hero".

I have just recently started listening to Foo Fighters. I had heard this cd was good, so I though I would check it out. The more I hear their music, the more I like them!! Definitely recommend getting this cd if you do not already own it!

I still enjoy listening to albums so when I found this cd I had to buy it and give it a listen, the copy I found was the 2007 reissue so it has bonus songs, great album to have in your collection

This is an early Foo Fighters album expanded edition with 4 extra songs at the price of an EP and I got $5.00 off the already good price with my Best Buy reward certificate.

After the first Foos, who could have expected something as powerful, long-lasting, and catchy as this album. The remastering and new liner note reflections just add icing the the cake. I'm actually buying a CD again!
