I had a great time with this game. It is truly unlike anything else you can find today. If you played Ico or Shadow of the Colossus, you should have an idea of what to expect in terms of tone. The graphics are gorgeous; this was the first PS4 game that actually made me stop and take screenshots. The gameplay definitely feels like it is from a generation or two ago, but the overall package is so enjoyable that it is worth playing this game through to the end. Check it out!

My family really enjoys this game (to little girls ages 6 and 10) and my husband. I even like playing it and im not a gamer. Great graphics and story line.

I have not completed even half of the game so far, but it seems like another great work by Team ICO. However, the wait between Shadow of the Colossus and this game has been way too long. It is a good game, but with that long of a wait, I expected a little more. Shadow of the Colossus seems to still be the top game from Team ICO, but hopefully they will continue making amazing games that they obviously put a lot of time into completing.

After enjoying ICO and adoring Shadow of the Colossus, Last Guardian is… somewhere in-between for me. Expect more of the same gameplay and look and feel, while providing its own unique charm.

For $10, this is a great deal. More than $10, it's a total ripoff. Too many bugs and control issues. But the story is top notch.

From the brilliant artistic game designer of "Ico" and "Shadow of the Colosus" comes a game ten years in the making about a boy who awakens in a crumbling tower beside a giant creature that's part cat, part dog, and part bird. The game play is environmental puzzles sometimes involving opening a door which your creature friend can't reach or other times destroying glass eye decorations which somehow prevent the creature from moving forward. The game looks amazing! The creature, Trico, is quite realistic and emotive and behaves like a real animal would (both better and worse....stubborn doesn't begin to cover it). The flaw with the game is a few things, chief among them it's boring. There are really only two or maybe three types of puzzles and they are repeated over and over. After I'd opened a couple doors, destroyed a few glass eyes, and coerced Trico into going where I wanted him to go the game stopped offering anything new besides looking amazing. The story is barely there, even after you beat it and reveal more of tthe backstory how the boy came to be in the ruins. I plan to trade my copy in ASAP before it loses more value, I would encourage anyone interested to wait for the game to drop to around $20.00 before grabbing it as there isn't much there to hold interest for the full 8 hours of play available. STAY AFTER THE CREDITS TO SEE A SHORT EPILOGUE.

Frankly, the game is kinda bad. Controls are sloppy, puzzles aren't very interesting, and your not-so-trusty companion is often more frustrating than anything. Graphics are very last gen, and yet it cant even manage to keep that at stable framerates. But when dogbirdgiraffe looks at you with them sad eyes... you don't care about any of that for awhile.

ps4 exclusive game. takes you on a story of a boy with a large wolf. controllers are little bit buggy but the playthrough is not bad. not really an action game so it depends on the player

Beautiful graphics, but that's it. Very poor camera views, hard to drive and the beast gets in the way. Or doesn't do what you want. One endless maze/puzzle trying to find your way. I really wish I'd bought something else and I can't exchange it.

Great game, story line is a gem! Controls can be frustrating at times but if you can get over that minor glitches, its a masterpiece to be cherished.

The Last Guardian is a lot of fun to play and the sounds / graphics are top notch especially on the PS4 Pro. Cool story and characters.

One of the few games where awkward controls are part of the charm. A beautiful and unique experience.

This game has an excellent story to tell and the puzzles are fun too. The beast behaves like a real animal, it's hard not to get attached.

Great cinematic adventure game marred by sluggish camera control and an overly aggressive motion blur. You control a little boy that likes to boss around and give orders to a big hungry and stubborn dog that will follow your commands, or not, in order to solve puzzles and fight off soldiers. If you are into Ico and Shadow of the Colossus then you'll probably like this game. Just beware of falling doggy waste. Get it.
