This game gets a lot of flak for what it is. If you liked Team Ico's previous offerings, you'll know what to expect and what their strengths and flaws are. If you are not aware of their previous games, give this game a chance if you like experience type of games.

As if the art alone wasn't inspiring and amazing in this game, the behavior of the creature in this game is uncanny. There are so many moments where I feel like I am dealing with a real creature that I can't help but be impressed. It's so freaking awesome. I highly recommend this!

The last guardian is a wonderful tale of a boy and a bird-dog that captures the need of companionship. It's a symbol of humans need for friendship and the struggles of life in a harsh world.

I really don't want to give anything away in the review of the game other than I would recommend it and you should play it. This game has been in development for years so you owe it to yourself to play it, simple as that.

Really wanted to love this game, but it controls like a PS2 era adventure with a companion who isn't always helpful. Might be better off watching a let's play on youtube.

I have played the previous games made by Team Ico (Ico & Shadow of the Colossus) and I must say that this game was very enjoyable. Very glad that they were finally able to complete this game. If you liked the previous work of the development team you'll like this game.

They definitely did a nice job with this one as it had me hooked for dozens upon dozens of hours. Very uniquely interesting command system that's pretty easy to learn. Give it a try, you'll be sad-ish if you don't

I had great expectacions for this game, but I was king of disappointed. The main problems are two: the camera control, and Tico control. Both frustrating.

Beautiful game with a compelling environment but these controls are just terrible. If you can get past that you'll enjoy it. Totally worth the $20.

shadow of the colossus - the colossi, but has doggo, bird thing. So a win in my book. If you like ico and colossus, you'll probably like this game.

This game is super cool. It's like constantly getting lost with your best friend with a fine cheese in the Forrest. Very unique game type, makes you wanna play more day after day. The company did an amazing job on trico, seriously the coolest game character

Beautiful game, not so beautiful to control though. It is very frustrating operating the camera in this game. I thought it was just ok all things considered.

Yep. Bought it for Black Friday and haven’t played it yet but BB won’t leave me alone. Games been out for a while. If you don’t know it’s pros and cons by now...

I was a bit disappointed with this title.. my excitement for it was short lived but it's still a great theatrical game for those with some patience.

From a technical standpoint, The Last Guardian is an impressive title. Trico is one of the most impressive AI companions I've ever seen but the game isn't that fun. No direction or assistance is given throughout the game but most of the puzzles focus on you simply giving Trico a direction and having the AI take control. The story is moving but compared to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, which were made by the same company, this is definitely the poorest. After 10 years in development, I expected more, especially after playing Shadow of the Colossus.

My daughter loved it and went thru it in 2 days (very long days). She loved "Shadow of the Colossus ", which is the precursor to this game and asked for it for xmas. It lived up to her expectations. She said she will play it a few more times.

This game is beautiful as to be expected from this franchise. However there is ALOT of video time which isn't necessarily bad but can get frustrating when wanting to actually play the game.

Wow. Still haven't finished. Savoring. Ueda has truly created a living breathable enchanted world (Cave of Montesinos, anybody) where even language is fiction. Should be a powerful ending.

This is a great game with Phenomenal Graphics. The play is fairly simple and easy to figure out. My kids love it and have a great time with it.

Similar to that of the devs previous 2 titles, the last guardian takes the player on a journey of implicit nature that you take at your behest.
