I bought this with under the advice that it was an "open world sandbox puzzle solver with a cult following". I bought it yesterday and I am trading it in today. The graphics are great. The game is slow for me. As another member mentioned, the controls are clunky. The game involves interacting with the environment to solve problems to get you and your mystical beast friend out of captivity. If you played Myst and Riven and enjoyed those types of games, this game is right down your ally. They were not my cup of tea so for that reason, I would recommend it to a friend or family member if they were into that genre of games.

This was a fun experience, at times annoying but overall enjoyable. Smoother framrates on the ps4 pro and HDR. If you like animal interactions and puzzles, this could be for you.

This game has been in the works for a very long time and it was worth the wait. It is very different from the cookie cutter games you see today and once you give it a chance, you'll be hooked.

when i tried it out it had control issues which plague the final release but the game has a great story

I never played the predecessors - however this game simply appealed to me. Loading the disc I could notice the careful details in the game - both plot wise and scenary. Definite must try for anyone who likes adventures.
