If you love video games and you have not played this game, I don't know what you're doing with your life. Without question one of the top 10 video games of all time. Even casual gamers would get a tremendous amount of enjoyment out of this. Great story, great action, smooth controls, and a variety of difficulty settings for any and all video game experience levels. The fact that this version is Remastered and includes the DLC makes it an even better purchase. An absolute bargain even at regular price. If you own a PS4, you must own this game. If you don't own a PS4, this game alone makes buying a PS4 worth it.

The main reason I converted back to PlayStation (PS2) from XBox was primarily due to this game series and it did NOT disappoint. The graphics, storyline, characters, attention to detail and gameplay are captivating. This will definitely be a game I play through multiple times. To this day I can’t decide which part of the game was better, the gameplay or the story/attachment to characters. Naughtydog and their partners spared no expense and took no shortcuts into producing this game. Highly HIGHLY recommend!!!

As a PS3 game, The Last of Us was rightly considered one of the best games to ever be made, and the remastered version only affirms this. With sharper graphics and also including the very good Single Player DLC, this really is something not to be missed. A fine third person shooter mixed with stealth, the story in this game is the reason why people regard it so highly. Moving, concise, and straightforwardly brutal, it needs to be played.

Last of Us 2 kind of killed the series for me, and now that they are de-emphasizing Joel on the first game's box-art is quite frankly a slap in the face. He was one of the two reasons that made this game so good, and it's like Sony doesn't want to acknowledge that at all.

excellent game. Love the atmosphere. Although it's not directly related, reminds me of the dark hours of the Walking Dead TV show.

This game entertained me for multiple hours. It is easily the best game on the PS3 and it gets close to being the best game for the PS4. I would highly recommend.

great story and expansive world to explore. this game is not for those looking for mindless slaughter of bad guys but rather think of it as TV mini-series where you control the actors (reminds me of the Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books popular in the 80's). Some of the game action is a bit choppy and you have to suspend disbelief but the story more than makes up for any mechanical shortcomings.

short and sweet. this is one of the best games to have ever been made for the PS3. this edition for the ps4 just makes it sweeter. the story is very very good and the voice acting is pretty on point. i was never bored throughout the whole game. best thing is that its just the right length of gameplay. it doesn't drag at all having a casual gamer play for months on end. avid gamers will go through the game in a week. casual gamers a month or two. perfect game to pick up while waiting for a big release like COD, or GTA5 for ps4. that is of course if for some reason you aren't getting Destiny. personally it was the perfect game to pick up while i was waiting for Destiny which releases on the 9th.

The only reason that I did not give this game 5 stars is because I was able to complete it in about 15 gaming hours. That is well short of what I could see as potential in both the story line and the "adventuring". They move you forward in the storyline in some cases months and I think that building the story in such a way navigating a map to get to the locations across country that you have to go to would have been an awesome addition to the game and deepened the story as well. Having said all of that, I did find myself getting attached to the characters and the struggle was believable for the most part. I always hate having to shoot someone 6 times with a gun to kill them but an arrow puts them down with one shot. But the game play was good, a lot of suspenseful moments walking in dark hallways anticipating the inevitable attack, all of that was positive and I appreciated how that influenced the game play. All in all, playing the game has made me eager to play the next one and even though it felt like I got through it way to fast, the time spent in the game was worth the 4 star rating. I will add that I only paid $20 for the game because I bought it just recently so that lessened the sting of only getting to enjoy it for about 3 or 4 gaming sessions.

Very good story but I don’t like the aiming. I got used to Call of Duty and this one is different when you aim your weapon.

To put it simply, it's a great game! Helps bridge the time until a new season of the HBO show inspired by this game.

Don't waste any more time. Buy this game. If you missed it on PS3 and this is your first time trying it, get it on PS4. If you HAVE played it on PS3, get it on PS4 anyway. It is worth every penny.

Played the original when it was new. The HDR on this game is excellent . I'd say it still holds its own with brand new games

I have this for the PS3 and once it was announced for the PS4 and was dead set on buying it. If you want a game that reminds you of the walking dead or any zombie type thriller here is your game!

This game has been out for a while now but still good. If you haven't played it pick it up. It's a good game to play when you get bored of playing another game for a while. Neat story.

This is a fantastic game, plain and simple. The story is very well put together and keeps your interested all the way through. I don't think there was a point in this game where I didn't want to see what would happen next. Its true to the story line type game and does a great balance of game play and video story clips. There are a lot of twists and turns, the game is challenging at times, and it keeps you wanting to play more and more. This version also has the added benefit of the side story mode for the "prequel". Very well written and voiced by the actors. I will keep this game in my collection forever

Story telling at it's finest. This game grabs you from the opening credits and does not let you go until the roller coaster ending, and leaves you wanting more.

I played The Last of Us originally on the PS3 and when I saw that they released it again on the PS4 I just had to have it. If you're into story driven games that give you the ability to explore and navigate through the environment many different ways .... this is the game for you. The graphics, story, acting all are ridiculous and will keep you playing for hours. You'll say to yourself, "I just want to see what happens next". Even more amazing was how the story grabbed the attention of my wife. She hates games but sat down a little to see me play and enjoyed just watching. Her comment ... "It's like watching a movie". She couldn't wait to see how the story concluded.
