This is a great game that is the epitome of good storytelling with interesting gameplay. There are points where the entire game being an escort mission can be annoying, but Ellie is an interesting enough character that it is never quite bogged down in such a way. The game is tense, with that quality touch in every corner. This was one of the best games to come out the last generation and here it is, remastered for our current generation.

Love this game and anyone who has played it all the way through will say the same. It is gritty and down to earth and I absolutely love it for that. I bought it for my PS3 when it came out and then bought it again (remastered) for my new PS4. Love playing it all over again after a long break. The graphics look better, but not groundbreakingly different from the last version. Even if it doesn't look all that different it was still worth getting again.

They haven't played it yet but it is a great remastered version with sharp graphics and a amazing story

The Last of Us was my favorite game of 2013. It was an emotional roller coaster and told an amazing, personal story between the two main characters. The level design for the game is just breath taking. There are certain area that when you arrive you just go "wow". I really enjoyed playing the side story Left Behind in the new remastered edition as I did not purchase this content for the PS3 version. Overall this is a great package and a amazing game. Its now on my list as one of the best of all time.

I'm just annoyed at myself for not picking it up sooner when it first released on the PS3. This is not just a game. It's an experience. The emotions and thought processing you go through when trekking around in this post apocalyptic world are nothing short of amazing. The main characters are so well developed. Beautiful scenery abound. Controls are solid as well. Definitely worth a third or even tenth play through. Should be included in every PS4 owners library.
