Probably 20 hours into this game, and it's become a favorite. The story, action, adventure, thrills, and game play are top shelf. The price was the lowest around, and shipping was fast.

Easy to control. Characters look realistic. Zombies “Clickers” voices are scary. Never got board playing this game!

I had this game on my PS3, and was so happy that they Re-mastered it for the PS4. This is a 3rd person game just for everyone's info, something that I wish would be talked about in the description of a game. The story is just so touching, the graphics are astonishing, and there are many hours of game play. This game was made by "NAUGHTY DOG" The same folks that did the "Uncharted series. You will not be disappointed and the price is great at Best Buy. Believe me I am tough on games when it comes to giving stars, and if I could I would give this game six of them. Get this game, You can thank me later.

As rich in story and fidelity as I remember it to be in the ps3 version. Love the visual and audio enhancements.

I have purchased the original and the remastered version. I can't say that the remastered is any better, since I play on a 720p TV, but I loved the game and traded in my PS3 so getting it for the PS4 was a given for me. With the remastered version however, you get the extra DLC, which I haven't played yet, so that is a bonus. If you like third person games, with beautiful graphics, and a good story, this may be the game for you. It can be gory, and upsetting at times. I loved everything about the game except the ending, which felt a little out of place when you are forced to make a predetermined choice, rather than your own choice.

love the last of us and could not wait for this to come to the ps4. boy was I shocked when I put this in and not In the best of ways. this was just a way for nd to make quick cash, because the remake to no advantages of the ps4 what so ever. all they did was push for 1080p and 60fps and there are plenty of games that are running at this already on the ps4, so why does a last gen game have that as it's main selling point I mean that should of been a given. I was expecting a lot more from this title in the remake sense not the actual game great game not taking anything away from it but nd could of done away better job in my opinion.

I waited to play the Last of Us on the PS4. This version is the best since it comes with the DLC from the PS3 version. Buy this game ASAP as it needs to be in any PS4 library.

This game has everything you could hope for with a superb story, great interaction between the characters, plenty of action, excellent graphics and sound, game length is long and areas are large. If you like action/horror/survival games, then this is the one to get. The only minor quibble is that the indoor scenes in the beginning are dark but can be remedied with some adjustments on the TV. All in all, a must-have for your PS4 collection. I can't wait until the next one comes out in February!

Bought this game to compare it to the series on HBOMAX. Haven’t played it yet so we’ll see.

The Last of us is probably the best, if not the best video game I've ever played. The storyline is amazing and beautifully well written. Gameplay as well! Imagine watching a really really GREAT MOVIE! After watching it you keep saying how good it was and how it made you feel some time of way. Emotional for example. The Last of us storyline is so GREAT! It's like watching a GREAT award winning movie, but you get to play or "be in" the movie. Words can't describe how amazing the game is. Give it a try and you'll end up wishing it never ends. I can't wait for part 2.

Surprised that it was so good. I'm not a fan of gorey and zombie apocalypses type games but this was really good.

This games is just about perfect. I look forward to replaying the entire game on PS4, it seems to be better than I thought the remaster would be. I'm satisfied.

I was on the fence about buying this (since I own the PS3 version). I WAS SO WRONG! The graphics are better, colors are crisper, and the frame rate is more smooth. Plus I realized that I need to replay this game prior to starting The Last of US part II (also bought at Best Buy). Not only did it bring back memories, but it reminded how ahead of its time the game still is. The tension and action is so intense; just a fantastic game. Get it!

I repurchased this game after playing the PS3 campaign a few times last year because I wanted access to all the DLC I hadn't purchased. Also I'm looking forward to a better online experience with more people playing on PS4 with party chat and all the features that make online bearable. The SP campaign is of course the main draw, and I don't need to repeat what an amazing experience that is. But I'd like to give the MP another try since I enjoyed what little I played on PS3. Lastly, I'm being challenged by a new higher difficulty setting, and beating the game once unlocks a commentary mode that will have me playing again.

I really wish I had bought this game when it first came out but lucky me, I get to play the remastered version! Can't wait for #2.

The Last of Us is an amazing game from start to finish. The characters have a lot of depth and you can feel the emotion

This game was very hyped for many years, but it never really caught my eye much. It was so cheap that I played it to see what all the fuss was about, and the story plotting was good and had me interested in seeing what happens. Sure, there were definitely a lot of the cliches from this style of story, but how they get you from point A to point B helps make it more intriguing. The gameplay issues were annoying, but not as bad as the Uncharted games. The game is set up for stealth, but sometimes they want you to get into Gears of War style firefights with lots of enemies when the gameplay isn't designed well enough for that because at times the movement is sluggish and the AI is really bad. Thankfully it wasn't off-putting enough to deter me from finishing. Although the ending was incredibly contrived I still had a lot of fun getting to know Ellie and Joel and play through their story.

When this game came out last summer, I wasn't really into the gaming scene anymore so I had no idea Naughty Dog made this masterpiece or else I would've jumped on it. By the time I found out about The Last of Us, the PS4 was due around the corner. I figured my opportunity was lost and I might never get to play it other than buying a used PS3 copy.. But I wanted it on the PS4! Bam, it came out on the PS4. If you're like me and missed it the first time around or if you're coming from Xbox this is a must buy. Still playing the game currently, top notch remastered graphics, storyline is superb, and voice acting is on point.

Forget that this is a remaster. Last of Us came to the PS3 late in the system's life and used the most out of it's hardware. Now updated for PS4, the game looks and feels more polished than ever, which is saying a lot. The Last of Us not only excels in graphics quality and gameplay but also in rich story telling and performances. Thank god this hasn't been adapted to film yet, which I'm sure it will, as it's such an incredibly immersive and compelling story. Without giving anything away, this should appeal to fans of The Walking Dead or any other apocalyptic outbreak story.
