There's a reason this game won so many awards. Naughty Dog brings the same cinematic pacing and story development as the Uncharted series to a grittier, morally compromised world filled with clicking zombies and bad people (or are they just trying, like you, to survive?). The opening sequence alone is worth the price of admission. The ps4 version offers better graphics and the dual shock 4's added abilities are used fairly well. The light on it actually helps set the mood. Multiplayer does exist though I have yet to try it.

This is hands down, one of the best games of all time. The beautiful art direction and fantastic gameplay make this a must own.

I have always heard from friends how much of incredible game The Last of Us is. But never got into it because I have always been a Xbox person. After playing this for a few weeks, I can see why it's so liked. The story is great, the graphics are beautiful, and the overall presentation is superb. The only thing that I had an issue with was the controls. It took me a little bit of time to get used to them. Otherwise, a fabulous game.

I owned this on PS3 and that year, Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite quickly became my all time favorite games. When I sold my PS3, I knew I wanted this game again but didn't want to pay full price. After waiting years for this to finally drop below $50, it did and it did hard. Got it for $12 during a sale with Gamer's Club discount. Seriously still one of the all time favorite games and the buttery smooth 60fps just makes it all the better. HIGHLY recommend this, way better than Uncharted 4.

This game is great! I appreciate the multi difficulty levels and the fact that I can go back and forth as I choose.

Picked this up to play in prep for the sequel, have heard that it's a gem of a game, can't wait to dive in.

This may be a little hyperbolic, but I think this is one of the best games ever made and is a great example of the future of story-based video games. The story is very well-written, the characters are multidimensional, and the game itself is fun and requires thought and strategy to complete. I think it's a game that everyone should play at some point and I hope that it remains available in the future. I also hope that Naughty Dog goes on to make more great games that similarly include good writing and gameplay.

This game will make you cry, angry, laugh, scream, but most importantly, cry again. The story is unparalleled to most, if not all, games in the industry, and even surpasses many films as well. The complex characters have so much realistic depth to them, the game makes you want to learn more about them. But the gameplay is probably what most are wondering about, and in my opinion, it's solid. But really, if you need a reason to play this game, play for the amazing story.

i had the one for ps3, there are some noticable differences for next gen. especially when it comes to frame rate. great game.

An amazing game, a true masterpiece of a game. The attention to detail, atmosphere and amazing story telling mixed in with the intense survival and crafting aspect makes this a one of a kind experience. A must for anyone with a PS3, PS4 or PS5.

This game was great on PS3. It's just as great if not better on PS4. Naughty dog hit it out the park with this one. If you've played it on the PS3, it's worth another look as it has some single and multiplayer DLC attached plus a few add ons. And the game looks amazing in 1080P 60 frames per second. Very fluid. Could take a little getting used to if you played the original. But overall, if you've have a PS4, you need this game in your library regardless if you've played it before on PS3 or not. It's just that good.
