The best game I ever played. The story was very good and theatrical. Most video games don't deserve to be turned into a movie but this one does. It was heartbreaking at times and emotional to its core. The characters you will fall in love with. They are diverse and three dimensional. The action is outstanding and the gameplay is awesome.

The Last of Us is nothing short of a masterpiece. When it was originally released on PS3, it was hailed as the greatest game of the generation. Now that game is on PS4, and the graphical improvements make this game a true sight to behold. The added photo mode is a great addition, and lets you create beautiful screenshots.

It's rare to find a sequel that better than the original and this is it absolutely fantastic you'll make your hard strings cry deep with emotion action and horror

Best Buy almost always has the best price, and it is just that much better when it is a great game. Made by the folks who made Uncharted, this game is not just a pack in of all the DLC from the original PS3 but is enhanced to take advantage of the PS4. Best Buy did a great job with packaging. Glad I ordered it from them!

I'm a casual video game player who leans towards sports titles. I happen to come across a YT video showing the opening twenty minutes or so of the story. I was hooked. So I bought it. The graphics are gorgeous and the story line intense. I'm only a little bit into the game play but find myself enjoying every bit of it!

I have played hundreds of video games in my lifetime, for tens video game hardware, and this is easily one of the best. I already own the PS3 version, but I had to support the developers again for making such a beautiful masterpiece. It's not often you come across a game this amazing, so please do not miss the opportunity to play this game.

I had heard a lot about this series but never played it. Got it on special for $15 through a price match and wow!!! Playing on my PS5 and it’s seamless. Such a great game that must be enjoyed. The story is amazing.

I was looking for a game that was non-sport, non-driving, so I went with this one based on reviews. I haven’t been disappointed with my purchase and it’s provided some good gameplay over the few hours I’ve done so far. I think this is one I could play thru a few times.

For me this game goes down as one of the greatest video games ever created. From gameplay to the gripping story, LOU had me on the edge of my seat the entire time that I played it and nearly in tears by the end. If any game is worth it, this game is. I am also addicted to the online multiplayer which is ridiculously fun.

Phenomenal, Outstanding, Excellent, are all inadequate descriptors for one of gaming's finest achievements. There are truly no words fit for what Naughty Dog has achieved with The Last of Us. I could write you a book the size of Tolkien novel filled with my praises but it would be much simpler to say "go out and buy this game immediately".

I heard a lot of buzz about this particular title, and it was on sale so I picked it up for my newly purchased PS4. The game is very cinematic and detailed but, for me, the gameplay feels a little slow. Maybe I haven't invested enough time but the few hours I've committed to it so far have been semi-tedious if somewhat interesting. My guess is it gets better with progression. Perhaps it's best played with headphones on in the dark, to sort of help set the mood of the game. I recommend it as an experience but it's pacing doesn't fit with how I like to play. If I wanted to feel like I was in a movie I'd move to Hollywood, oh wait......

Very good right on time best game and great shipping

(belated review) Purchased this to play through before I bought the second one. I believe it is already established there is a positive view of this series for a reason: it's quality as a story and game play experience. Great time on the PS4.

Price & game are fantastic! Case was broken though

Played this gem back in the PS3 era and just now for the PS4 in anticipation for the sequel next year! This game is a fine example of how both gaming and cinematic storytelling can collide to make something truly special! I couldn't recommend this purchase enough!

The story and gameplay of this game was truly amazing!

I owed the Last of Us on playstation 3 and purchased it on release day for playstation 4. I've easily put in over 100hours of gameplay. It is possibly the best campaign with some of the most impressive visuals, character development, action pacing, voice acting, and storyline. 10/10 total package possible best of its type of all time.

Didn't play this game in its original version because I didn't have a ps3. Now that I have the ps4 I wanted to check the game out. The graphics, atmosphere, story, and game-play are fantastic. Combat is very clunky, but that appears intentional to add to realism. One of the better games I've played within this generation of consoles yet.

This game is made for you to feel a strong sense of helplessness and insecurity. It keeps you engaged and on the edge of your seat not by cheap jump scares, but by making you empathize with the characters plight. You lose yourself in them, and there is no better compliment in art and media than that.
