Awesome FPS/RPG game!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Obsidian Entertainment is back with The Outer Worlds! With their success in developing in-depth RPG games, such as Fallout: New Vegas, Obsidian is back stronger than ever with a brand new sci-if rpg that doesn’t disappoint. Dark humor, awesome weapons, and a multitude of choices brings great replay value.

Outer Worlds Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Outer Worlds is a very fun game. As a fan of fallout in general I was excited to enter a world build on similar ambitions. I was not disappointed I would recommend this game to people who are into more side quest exploratory games.

Great game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a great time with this game. Fun combat and exploration. For my taste - the length of the game was a major plus. There was plenty of content to get more than your money’s worth, but the game was not excessively long like most modern games in the genre.

my likey
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like Fallout 4, you'll like Outer Worlds. Fallout 4 was my first experience with these open-world RPGs that I actually enjoyed. Outer Worlds is much shorter, but can be played multiple times through different paths, choices, etc. Great game.

What you wanted from Fallout
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's hard to not compare Fallout with TOWs. But much is carried over from Obsidian's previous work on Fallout. so, if you like: Shooting stuff Expansive dialogue options Whacking stuff with both sharp and blunt objects Sticking it to overblown corporations ...Here's your game

Another hit from Obsidian
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In true Obsidian fashion, the game almost immediately tosses you a morally ambiguous choice with no "right" answer. As a fan of the original Fallout 1 and 2, as well as New Vegas, the 15 minutes I spent staring at my screen, scrambling to decide the fate of two grey and dynamic factions, were downright nostalgic. Needless to say the writing and world building is fantastic, nothing short of what you'd expect. The combat, particularly the stealth, isn't the best in the world, but the FPS aspect isn't what we're here for and the action is still enjoyable. As an RPG, it succeeds in all areas. It has likeable companions and characters, interesting side quests, a silent protagonist with varying dialogue options, a plethora of factions you can build a reputation with, and so far a pretty intriguing main quest. In the wake of some disappointing RPGs and letdowns from Bethesda and Bioware, The Outer Worlds couldn't have possibly come at a better time. I missed good games like this...

Exactly what I want from this style of game.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Typically people would want the 100+ hour open world style game when you think of western style rpgs like fallout and Skyrim, I however much prefer The Outworlds take, a shorter get in tell you some great character stories and get you out. If you love western style rpgs but don’t want the crazy time sink, this is for you!

Fantastic game!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Obsidian has done it again! A fantastic RPG voyage into the Outer Worlds provides an out of this world experience for all who love RPGs! I award this game five bags of popcorn and a little game controller keychain to remember the game for when I am out on the go and cannot play it.

The next step in Fallout/Skyrim type singleplayer.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.‘The Outer Worlds’ is a a great take on the Fallout/Skyrim style games,,, great graphics, simpler mechanics, and quick to learn yet challenging gameplay. It’s retro future space evokes ‘Fallout’ without simply copying it. I’ve just started, and am very glad I got this.

It draws you in.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started this game after finishing Borderlands 3 and the difference between the graphics and game play was a bit jarring at first (and not in a good way). It took a while, but the amusing character dialogues and the numerous missions that moved the story forward drew me in. I'm thoroughly enjoying the game now and definitely a fan.

Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s not quite Fallout, very similar to New Vegas In game play , great graphics controls are good. Characters could use some polish But over a good game

Decent game. But a little boring.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely loved Fallout 4. Based on some of the reviews I have read I think I may be in the minority with that opinion. But I loved the length of the game, the constant action while just free roaming, and the massive amount of small and large goals to accomplish along the way. I had read about the Fallout New Vegas version and how great it was so I was very excited about a new game by the same developer who created it. Unfortunately I am a little disappointed in The Outer Worlds. It is a fun game. Dont get me wrong. But the action is few and far between. The interactions with random in game people is rare. And overall it is just boring. I do like the game and would recommend it to my friends if you have nothing else good you are playing. But I cant recommend it as a top pick. Maybe Obsidian will use this as a jumping off point and come back with a great game to follow this up.

Overall Great Game
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that this isn’t a HUGE open world RPG because I do like to replay games and this one is perfect for replaying with a different character build and what not. It is very fallout meets mass effect meets bioshock meets space for lack of a better way to describe it. I’m loving it and think it’s simplicity adds to its charm.

Awesome Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Massive worlds to explore where your choice decides the outcome. Beautiful graphics and plenty of various missions to partake in. It maintains the open world RPG style of game play like the Fallout series, but this time in space on various planets. Fun game to the end.

Like the good old days of Bethesda, but not glitch
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who was disappointed with the Fallout 76 experience, this game scratched the old school sci-fi RPG itch. Was it very deep? Not particularly. But I enjoyed the game mechanics and the world they tried to create. I hope to see more like this in the future.

Like Fallout. Loved it!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it because the reviews said it was like Fallout and I absolutely loved it because of that. Obsidian made a better game than Bethesda and error free to boot. Don’t pass on this one if u like RPGs open world games.

Fun space adventure video game
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got a great price on this game. I prefer physical games as I can have a collection or can trade if it's a dud. On the other side digital games are really convenient. Anyway, back to the game... It's like Fallout in space.

Great RPG
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looking for an awesome RPG? Well this is it. From the folks who created Fallout New Vegas comes The Outer Worlds and unlike Fallout this game doesn't constantly crash! Seriously I played the whole game without a problem and I enjoyed it all the way through!
