This game is reminiscent of the recent Fallout games, has a similar feeling when playing. Play the way you want and change your stats/style anytime after the intro section. Overall, i would say play this if u like a solid story with some humor and action.

The game is a really fun shooter but lacks a storyline that keeps you interested. I found myself skipping through a lot. But it is action packed and fun to find and upgrade weapons. You don’t really get to use a lot of the skill tree by the time you beat the game which I always find annoying.

It's a weird feeling to have bought a full game that didn't require a season pass , a yearly pass, or some other added expenses and it's a good one at that.

The Outer Worlds raises the bar for Interplanetary RPGs. In addition, the FPS mechanics and time-slowing skill make the combat engaging. For those who enjoy the Fallout or Skyrim series and/or Mass Effect series, you don't want to miss The Outer Worlds.

When Bethesda did not allow Obsidian access to the Fallout brand I was worried that their next games would loose some of that charm. I was very happy to be wrong this game brings charm combined with a compelling story and an immersive colorful world.

This is a must play for fans of Fallout or Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Lots of dialog options and multiple ways to play means the replayability factor is off the charts. The storyline and gameplay make me think of the tv series Firefly.

You want to play fallout then play this! Stay far away from Fallout 76 this is the game you’d rather play. The game is New Vegas quality something that Bethesda has been missing for quite some time now. Don’t believe me then buy this game you’ll see.

Great game with semi open world map. You can stick to the the main story or you can explore and complete the many optional side quests. Completing the different quests give you a better look into the outer worlds storyline but if you don’t need the extra details the main story is great too. 4.5/5

I had a fantastic time with this game. If you're a fan of the Fallout or Elder Scrolls franchises, you'll instantly be at home here. These people also made Fallout New Vegas years back.

Obsidian really did it. This quirky sci-fi adventure is everything I've wanted from this style of game. Fun weapons, interesting worlds, comical scenarios, and story beats. Would recommend it to any Fallout fan.

I enjoyed playing this. I got close to halfway through it and decided to start over and play it on the hard level for more of a challenge. I like the characters and the game play and story line.

Barely got a hold of this gem! Man, well worth the $5. If you love playing Fallout games, then you'll definitely love this same formula but in a more vibrant space world.

This game doesn't have a massive world like most Fallout games (where it obviously draws inspirations from) but there are also less crappy filler or money-hungry micro-transactions. I'd say it's comparable, if not better, than Fallout 4. Won't need to compare it to Fallout 76 here.

While not as ambitious as Fallout New Vegas, The Outer Worlds is a tight and enjoyable game with fun writing. The item management system and general armory and bestiary aspects are a little lacking but I expect will become better with sequels.

So overall the game is good. Graphics are nice and gameplay is fairly easy once you get the hang of it. The only downfall to the game is there isn't any aim assist in the game. Seems like the enemies in the game have aim assist though, ha ha ha. Would I buy it again...possibly.

Imagine if after Fallout 3, the games hadn't changed at all - which is a mixed bag, since there were some good features, but a whole lot of bad. It feels a bit like it was caught in a time capsule, but it still has a ton of fun elements. The difficulty curve is a bit tricky early on if you aren't pushing your character straight into a warrior progression line, but it eventually levels out. The characters are fun and the story was enjoyable, even as a bit of a toothless commentary on late-period capitalist corporatocracy. While I enjoyed most of this game, I will say that the final "stage", and the final boss fight, were objectively awful. Unless you've maxed out your combat or hacking stats, it is an absolute painful slog. It put a sour ending on what was an otherwise great game. But it wasn't enough to ruin the entire experience, and I was able to complete every sidequest in a reasonable completion time. Definitely worth a playthrough.

This game looks great and I'm only a few hours in but I find it a little boring so far. It's reminiscent of Fallout games as it's made by the same company that created Fallout New Vegas. I love the Fallout series but this just doesn't have the same flair.

The game is a lot like Fallout 4. The mechanics are similar. There are really colorful scenes and instructions on how to navigate the game occur during loading. The game is shorter than Fallout 4. It is a RPG / shooter.

Great game! Obsidian the makers of new Vegas stuck to its roots with this one & I thoroughly enjoyed this game! If you are fans of the fallput series than you'll feel right at home with this game.

The only thing I didn’t like about this game is the dialogue from the characters. Colors and graphics are amazing. Wish I could see what it looks like on a ps4 pro or Xbox one x. Does have a bit of a delay when adjusting the horizontal sensitivity on a standard ps4
