No gimmick, but this is the best thing since sliced bread! Plus the app helps you focus on troubled areas.

This was a mixed reaction in this it house. It was very sturdy and strong. If you like a deeper massage this will work. If you are more moderate than you will think this can remove your teeth fillings. It’s a touch aggressive.

This massage gun had too much power for me, even on the lowest setting. I have no doubt that it would be great for someone who loves a true intense deep tissue massage.

Tried using for a month. It works, but the power was just too much for my wife. It really hurt her once she finished using it. Again, the product itself works, just be sure you are up for the force it uses.

Had the 5th gen pro found out this had the same motor, so i gave it a shot. Really like it in comparison to the big boy, it’s a tad smaller and lighter, which i like. Only downfall is missing the option to adjust the arm position. Overall im saving $300 well worth the the switch! Didn’t care too much for the presets on the LED screen it’s kind of hard to massage and locate your screen at the same time in my opinion.

I really don't think this massager does anything helpful for your body.. Do not see the point int it.. My friend is a chiropractor and my father is an MD, and they both agree this is just a silly device. May relive tension or do some short term remedy for you, but long term, probably just exacerbates an issue.

While it worked this seemed like a good device. I would like to have a way to turn it down a bit more than it allows now, but I found it beneficial, particularly on calf muscles. Unfortunately, after about 3 months of ownership, the power button stopped working. Checking in with customer support now.

    Instant Relief for Sore Muscles!

We've had the Theragun Elite for almost two weeks, and if my wife were more compliant, I'm not sure I would have ever let her stop using this thing on my back and shoulders. It works the kinks out like almost nothing else. The one exception that leads to the almost: the massager my chiropractor uses, but he leans on it pretty hard. It's awesome, but seems to be a bit of work. The Theragun is almost effortless. The machine does all the work, the operator just guides it around. For something with the power of the Theragun, we expected it to be a bit noisier. It's not silent, but it's not annoyingly loud either. Definitely not as loud as the massager it's replacing. When we first opened the box, we wondered what the deal was with the weird triangular shaped handle. It turns out the Theragun also has some "self-service" programs run from the iPhone app (they also offer an app for Android). It turns out that, by using the various sides of the triangular handle, you can reach areas that might otherwise prove impossible. And the app sets the speed and times the treatment, prompting you to move the Theragun as appropriate to maximize the experience. We still have much exploring to do regarding the app, but it is a nice touch. So here is our pro/con list: Pros: - Comes in a nice case with places to store attachments and charger. - Attachments are easy to change. - Charging is simple and fast. - Battery life is good. - Powerful. No need to apply pressure as with some similar products. - Immediate relief with first use. - Not as loud as other massagers. - App with programs designed to maximize therapeutic benefits. Cons: - The case has a horrible odor. - It can be a little awkward to reach some parts of the back/shoulders using it alone. Final thoughts... My wife and I LOVE this thing. I'm traveling for business, or I'd be begging her to work me over with it right now. I do wish the case weren't so smelly, but I suspect this is just the materials off-gassing, and will diminish over time. If you're in the market for a massager, I'd give the Theragun a 9/10.

If you are Ronaldo or a professional athlete MAYBE you should buy this. Maybe you workout 40 hours a week than maybe you should buy this but I always come back to value with my purchases and I just don’t see how this is worth $400 non the less $100. It’s loud and will vibrate you off your chair but as for benefits I don’t see a whole lot. If you are considering this buy an off brand for a lot less. Don’t get sucked up in the marketing for this it’s just a gimmic.
