Therabody Gun Review
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product worked well until after 2 years of use stopped charging. Would not recommend since out of warranty. The product worked well and was strong but the charging capabilities kept declining.

Waste of money
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is not worth 400 dollars. It does the same thing as a $100 dollar product, and I believe it’s one of the biggest wastes of money you could find inside of Best Buy. I’ll never buy another massage gun from this company.

Waste of Money$$$
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Please do not purchase a Therabody - Theragun Elite. The battery does not charge. I purchased my Theragun for Christmas and still have not been able to use it. I wish I read the many negative reviews others posted prior to my purchase.

Excellent massager
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Theragun makes a variety of products, depending on what you want from a device and how much you want to spend. This has a lot of features and I've seen it on sale too. This was the one I wanted after reading about several different versions. While at first I considered the mini, this was my first choice. It's a Smart Percussive Therapy Massager that does come with a protective case that holds the device on one side, perfectly shaped to tuck it back in, and has two lightly padded mesh pouches with straps to hold the charger (power adapter) in one, and the five attachments that come with it on the other side. The whole case is not that big, and really could go with you if you wanted. The Theragun uses a patented design, referred to as an ergonomic multi-grip, where the main part is triangular and is easy to hold onto and maneuver. It's designed to be held in different positions and not slip out of your hand, even at the highest setting. It has 5 speeds, from 1750 to 2400 percussions per minute. There's one preset routine on the device, and more can be found through the app. That's another key feature, the app you can download by scanning the included QR code. This app provides a variety of additional features, with all sorts of routines you can select from, such as by the body part you want to focus on, or an activity you might use this before or after. It shows which attachment to use and when you hit play, it takes you through each timed step by showing what direction to move the massager in, with diagrams from A to B, and how long in each spot. I found this especially helpful as I get used to the new device. You can also customize your own routine. I was surprised at how quiet it is. It's so powerful, but really quiet. When I went back to their website, it mentioned that the motor is insulated to make it much quieter than previous models. It also said it makes less noise than your toothbrush and they are right. I don't need it to make more noise when it does such a great job. I can listen to something else the whole time. After only a few uses, I can feel the difference in several areas, including one lower leg that had been bothering me for a couple of days. The five attachments are easy to switch out, and are made of a durable, antimicrobial material that is easy to keep clean- important in something that comes in direct contact with skin. This device is bluetooth enabled (connects to app) and says it can be charged wirelessly, but it charges with the adapter in less than 90 minutes and then lasts longer than that. This means you won't have to recharge it every time you use it, and can get about 2 hours of total use before charging it again. The small OLED screen above the power button shows when it's connected, remaining battery life, speed, etc. I expect to get a lot of use from this device, and recommend getting this Smart enabled model since it also includes the case and attachments, everything you need to do massage therapy on your own.

0 for 3 - Dead on arrival.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased three different Theragun Elites (two white/red and pone black) between November, 2021 and January, 2022 and all three came dead on arrival with 0% battery charge and completely unable to recharge. The last once was sent back to Therabody for warranty care in hopes they might be able to provide me with an actual working gun. Theragun has had the return for 5 weeks and is still “processing” the replacement since they have no stock to issue replacement units out of. My guess is there is either a bad battery batch or a bad batch of processors leaving these units unable to operate and recharge. Not a positive experience at all for a device marketed as a “premium” product - until you start seeing recent reviews from people with working units I’d probably steer clear towards a competitor product without these issues.

Steer Clear of the Elite White and Red
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After trying two of these products, neither one charged for the first time. Both were dead right out of the box. Not what you wanted for spending big bucks. Best Buy wanted me to pay the difference from the sale price to try this item in a different color, because none of the white and red were available locally. Poor experience all the way around this time.

On switch is faulty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave this as a gift to my husband. It was hard to press the on switch right away, but I hoped it would improve after using it for a few days. No luck. After less than one week, it won't turn on at all. (It is fully charged--faulty on switch...) Once on, it is a great product.

Battery dead on arrival - won’t charge.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery was at 0% when we opened the box and after 8 hours of charging it was still at 0%. Suggest filtering on recent reviews to see that this is not an isolated incident for Theraguns purchased in the Nov-Dec timeframe. This was my second purchase within a few weeks with the exact same problem so it’s disappointing to see that there is something more systemic going on with faulty batteries/devices. My third Theragun with the same issue went straight back to the manufacturer in hopes they can actually get me a working device.

A class action lawsuit may be the best way
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A class action lawsuit may be the best way to hold Therabody corporation responsible for selling defective RED model, probably knowingly. I had to exchange it 7 times, it just won't charge. Even BestBuy people couldn't believe it at first. At the end, BestBuy replaced it with the BLACK model in a store. Stay away from the RED model. The BLACK model works fine. I also have and using the WHITE/BLUE model for almost two years now, and so far no issues. I took pictures of the serial numbers of all 7 defective RED models I received in case Therabody decides to investigate. BestBuy should stop selling the RED model and return them to the supplier.

Quiet, Lightweight, and Very Effective
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth every penny! It's so much quieter than the other massage device that I used to have. It is lightweight. It's convenient to not have to worry about the cord, as long as it's charged up. My husband and I use it every day. He uses it on his legs to help relieve restless leg syndrome. I have chronic shoulder issues and I can't believe how well this loosens up those muscles. It pinpoints my tight muscles and relieves pressure very quickly. More than happy with my purchase!!

Serious piece of equipment!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one serious piece of equipment! Opening the box you can tell this is a quality piece of equipment. When you hold it in your hand for the first time you feel a sense of power. Its a very solid device and is very well built. It comes with a very nice carrying case that holds all of the included attachments and charger so you can easily take it on the go with you. Not to mention the battery life on this is amazing. You will easily be able to use it for a few days before having to charge it. Turning it on fir the first time can be a little intimidating. When you see it pulsing up and down you can feel just how much power it really has. I started out on the lowest setting and just gently touched my skin. After a little bit you will be used to the feel of it and can start to apply some more pressure and thats when you really feel it start to work! As they say, its great for before workouts to get your blood flowing as well as after a workout to help ease sore muscles. Im no spring chicken, so any help I can get is greatly appreciated. I usually have a lot of problems in my legs and knees when I workout. Also a little arm fatigue as well. I started using this before my workouts and immediately after and I can say I have noticed a difference. I find that its easier for me to get in the swing of my workout, there isnt as much of a warming up period because my muscles feel ready to go. After the workout, it just feels really good to work all the kinks and knots out. It definitely helps in the recovery time so you arent as sore for as long as you usually would be without using it. I am also amazed at how quiet this is for being so powerful. I have literally used this in the same room as a sleeping baby and he didn't even wake up.; It really is that quiet! Now, im not saying it doesn't make any noise at all, because it does. But if it doesn't wake up our fussy toddler, thats a win in my book! Another very cool feature is that you can connect this to an app on your phone via bluetooth. In there you can change the speed as well as watch tutorials and things like that. Once you get the hang of it you might not use the app very much, but its a cool thing to have to get started out with. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone! The only negative things I could say is that it might be a little too intense for some people and it could maybe have a few even lower settings. But for the most part if you can handle doing your workout, you should be able to handle this. After all, thats who its made for!

Not great for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this expecting a lot for the money and it was not great. It kept skipping over my back and did not do much. Maybe it is better on other parts of the body. My bob and Brad mini massager for 1/4 of the money did a much better job. They needed more attachments too. You only get 5.

Batter was junk
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited about getting this but when I went to use it, it lasted 20seconds tops. Figured, well it needs to be charged. So I charged it, and after 2hrs of charging, it still only lasted 20sec. I went to read on how long it takes to charge and it stated 2hrs. So I just tried one last time. And again, battery was a dud. I returned it the following day and got a different brand.
