||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must say that the theragun is not safe! It literally overheated and blew up and started smoking. I do not recommend theragun, due to the persistent friction overheating the device. She whined until she blew out. Didn't even last 2 weeks thanks therabody; Not.

Terribly painful.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is so incredibly painful that I ended up with little bruises. This is definitely not for anyone that has any type of sensitive skin. I thought it would help me with my aching muscles but it was very painful.

2 Brand New Theragun Elites Didn't Work
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is specifically a review of the Product Red version of this. Ordered one via website for delivery...arrived on time and gave it to my wife for her birthday. It didn't work. Plugged it in and it would charge. Just blinked "0%" for hours...tried several outlets. Okay, these things happen. Returned in store the next day and exchange for another. Got it home and same thing. Second brand new Product Red version blinked "0%" and wouldn't charge. Tried many outlets etc. Did some research online and it turns our MANY people have experienced this exact issues, especially with the white Product Red version. Returned the next day and exchanged for a black one which actually charges, but the whole weekend was gone so my wife couldn't enjoy her birthday gift. (Not to mention 2 trips to the store after using the convenience of ordering on website and having it shipped. Since this seems to be a fairly well documented issue (after seeing it many places on the web) I'm disappointed Best Buy and Therabody allowed this to remain on the shelves. Save yourselves the disappointment and don't buy the white Theragun Elite (product) RED version.

Poor quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used minimally for 1 year and 1 month and then broke. Warranty covers only one year. Now I’m out of luck, per the company. Doesn’t seem reasonable for a $350 item. Poor quality, buy something cheaper.

If you have a Body, you need this!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to start this review by saying this Massager is Awsome! I have the Theragun Elite, and I could not be happier with it. I have used it on my calf and lower back, all great, but I found a Carpal Tunnel setting on the App. The App was at first a bit hard to find; however, ten minutes later, I was connected to the device and started on my hands. The one thing I expected was how loud it was going to be, then I took it out of the box, turned it on and was amazed how much quieter it is, especially compared to other devices. Don't get me wrong it's not silent, but it is not annoying at all. The Elite comes with five attachments, and everything comes in a fantastic case its made to hold the charger and all attachments. I am still shocked at how well it works on my hands. I can type and hold things (that I could not do before) without pain. I understand it may cost more than other devices, but it's my body, and I am worth it.

Underwhelmed value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately I received one of the products that wouldn't charge. After replacing it the product was underwhelming and I was expecting better quality for the price.

Great Deep Tissue Massage
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So if you’re like me, and stuck working from home, you may be starting to feel the effects of the non-optimal home office setup. Turns out those nondescript office chairs in the office were actually quite nice and ergonomic. I’ve found several things, and have been adjusting to find a home nervana. The bad news is that most of it is a reaction, and it has left my back, shoulders, and legs in knots. Also, my exercise routine has been off, and now getting back into it I’m even extra sore. Enter the Theragun Elite. Theragun’s Elite is an amazing deep tissue massager that is surprisingly easy to use. I’ve never used a personal deep tissue massager, but the Theragun is an experience. Some of the stand out features are smartphone bluetooth connectivity, OLED screen, multiple foam attachments, wireless charging, and 120 minute battery life. So out of the box, you’ll immediately notice that the included carrying case is a nice soft shell case that offers decent protection if you’re on the road. If not, it provides a convenient place to store all the accessories for the device. Inside the case you’ll find the Elite with its default damper attachment installed. Inside one of the pockets is the 45w AC adapter (20v @ 2.25a barrel jack positive inside). The other pocket has the attachments, and literature. The Elite comes with a ball, wedge, thumb, and cone attachments beyond the damper. The literature comes with a quick start guide that shows you how to use the device. It also links to the app. The device itself is quite simple, with a simple 5 button interface. The center button powers on and starts a routine. The up and down button change the intensity between 1750 and 2400 percussions a minute. The left and right will choose a treatment, but mostly this is a ramp up and down with a 30 second timer mode or a freestyle mode. The screen has a built in pressure meter, that will show you if you’re applying good pressure. These are all very helpful tools in using the device. What’s more helpful is the smartphone app. During use, the device vibrates quite fast, so the screen may not be overly readable. Furthermore, most of the activities place the screen in an angle that would not be visible from the user. So the screen might be helpful when massaging your quads, but certainly not your own shoulders. The smartphone app seems like a missed opportunity. While it provides plenty of routines, and links to products, it doesn’t provide much in the way of a tutorial. It will jump in to starting your device, telling you which grip to use and give you a picture of the area you are to massage. These are great for those seasoned with the device, but a tutorial on each of the grips, and even linking to the tutorial videos on the website would be helpful for the beginner. At first I was a bit overwhelmed. After spending some time on the website, watching videos, and seeing how to hold/use for various body areas, the app is great. I just wish it had a bit more help for the beginner. Where the app does great is providing a large variety of routines and ease of getting them started. The device is quite easy to grip and use. Holding it like a gun works for areas like legs, but the triangle shape makes it quite easy to hold at different angles. Shoulders for instance, require holding it backwards (the reverse grip), but that is quite natural. The lower back requires holding it by the end, which I thought would be more difficult than it was, but it worked quite well. I have a couple small kids, and the device was safe enough to massage their feet with light pressure. They loved it, and let me do their back as well while giggling (it does tickle)! The device is pretty quiet considering what it's doing. The QX65 motor Theragun is quite proud of, and it’s quite the machine. Vibrating at 2400 percussions a minute, the noise is barely noticable. Of course once you start using it on yourself, noise is amplified by your own body, so at least you aren’t bothering your partner too much using it before bed. I found my head would get a bit fuzzy when doing my shoulders. Battery life is excellent. Given that many routines are only 4-10 minutes, you get many different routines on a charge. The battery seems to hold up quite well As far as how effective it is, well - it’s intense. If you’ve never had a deep tissue massage, or one of these massagers before it may be a little intense, even on the lower setting. The good news is, you are in control of the pressure, and while the app may be telling you to lay it on thick, you can back off if you feel uncomfortable. Once you trust the device, it becomes easy to put the right pressure into certain areas. Other areas might be a bit tender at first, so you might go lighter. The feeling is between tickling, and a bit of dull uncomfortable pain depending on the area and pressure. I definitely found myself wincing a few times, but afterwards I felt quite a bit more relaxed in most spots. My right shoulder often gets a kink in it, and the Theragun does a good job loosening me up. I found it felt good on sore muscles post workout, but didn’t seem to reduce my DOMS much. Overall, there is a learning curve, but it’s easy enough once you get past the grips. One small disappointment for the price is the lack of the wireless charging dock. It's an additional $79 which I feel like could have been included at the $400 MSRP. I feel like if you are going to use this regularly, the dock seems quite handy. If you’re looking for something to relieve your WFH pain, then the Theragun Elite is a good piece of kit. I’m quite impressed with the build quality and effectiveness of this tool. It’s pricey, but quite effective. Don’t be intimidated by it, just watch some of the helpful videos on Theragun’s site. I highly recommend this!

0 for 3 - Dead on arrival.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased three different Theragun Elites (two white/red and pone black) between November, 2021 and January, 2022 and all three came dead on arrival with 0% battery charge and completely unable to recharge. The last once was sent back to Therabody for warranty care in hopes they might be able to provide me with an actual working gun. Theragun has had the return for 5 weeks and is still “processing” the replacement since they have no stock to issue replacement units out of. My guess is there is either a bad battery batch or a bad batch of processors leaving these units unable to operate and recharge. Not a positive experience at all for a device marketed as a “premium” product - until you start seeing recent reviews from people with working units I’d probably steer clear towards a competitor product without these issues.

Go with the TheraGun Elite instead
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wouldn't turn on and didn't charge, tried multiple sockets. Returned for one that was shipped to my home, had the same issue of not turning on or charging and this one even had a piece rattling on the inside. Went back to Best Buy and returned it for the Elite version, not only did it work it actually felt sturdier than the Product red version
