    Relief for tight muscles

I do a good amount of weight lifting and exercising. As I’ve aged, recovery times are a little slower and muscles ache a little more than before. I’ve been using the Theragun for the last week and have noticed some impressive results. I’ve had a nagging hamstring for quite a while. Whenever a tried running I could it tightening up. I tried using the Theragun before exercising and after and didn’t feel the tightening this time. I also didn’t feel sore the next morning. There’s quite a few features of the Theragun model that I really like. First, the Theragun is really light weight. You can use the device for extended periods of time without exhaustion. Second, the Theragun is very quiet. The sound is not going to be an annoyance to others and if you’re in a separate room it’s almost inaudible. I also like the four additional attachments that targets different types of pain relief. There’s a instruction manual that explains what each attachment specifically targets. One attachment is better around bones, one is made to targets back pain. All of the equipment comes in a nice travel case. The battery life seems to be good. I’ve used the Theragun for over an hour and have not needed to recharge it yet. If you experience a lot of muscle pain/body aches, or if you lead an active lifestyle this is definitely a device you should look into. It will help relieve your pain so you can get back to living.

Theragun Elite Handheld Percussive Massage Device is wonderful to use on sore muscles after a workout. We found it easy to set up and use. Highlights are as follows: - It is a great device with a very sturdy carrying/travel case. - Extremely quiet motor that is not annoying or off putting. - 5 interchangeable attachments that are easy to remove and reattach. - The new app has great features and it's simple to use the Bluetooth presets that walk you through the massaging routines. - The battery life seems great without needing to constantly recharge the unit. The only negative thing, we initially received a defective unit that had a dark display screen. It was very dim and difficult to see in any light. The customer support (Helen C.) at Theragun was incredibly responsive! She didn’t hesitate to provide a replacement, and ask for our feedback. The new device showed up in less than a week. Now the display is bright and easy to read! Overall, the Theragun Elite is a great product and provides soothing massage through various speed and types of vibration. The app is interactive and helpful in guiding the user to which body part to focus on and for the duration. The 5 interchangeable attachments offer varying degrees of pressure and allow you to concentrate on different parts of the body.

Ordered through BestBuy.com. Arrived via UPS delivery. Have a firm understanding of fully charged before use. Plug in, to get it charged up once unboxed. Even after several hours of charge time, the dreaded 0% blink on the OLED screen refused to change. Decided to return. Found out from several other customers 1-star reviews show that this is a reoccurring problem. Especially the White Product RED version. I am not confident to buy it again. Decided upon Hyperice Pro 2 to replace this. Never look back since.

I received a defective device and went to exchange it at Best Buy. I had the same issue with that one, and did the same thing. And guess what…it had the same defect. The battery was completely dead, and would not charge. I ultimately had to go through Therabody directly. Just be cautious on purchasing the more unique variants. They’ve probably been in stock for a couple years.

The Theragun Elite is a sleek, ergonomic massager. This is my first expererience using a concussive massager and I am thoroughly impressed by the performance and results. The Theragun is very simple to use. You're able to switch to different heads and different speeds for your massaging needs (I generally stick with the small round head and lowest speed). My first time using the Theragun I massaged my aching foot for a couple of minutes and my foot felt amazing! I didn't feel any pain for two hours! If you're concerned about how loud this device is, the noise is a lot quieter than I was expecting. My ultrasonic toothbrush is louder than this device. Overall I think this is a fantastic device.

If you buy this item don’t buy online and test in the store before you walk out the door. There is clearly an issue with the battery in a batch of the these units. Gun comes with no power and when you plug it in to charge it shows 0% and never changes. Dealt with returning it twice. Nice quality control.

Powerful, satisfying, and sort of quiet

This massager is very satisfying to use. I got it because I recently had back surgery to relieve a pinched nerve. Strangely, my calf muscle became so stiff and sore that it became hard to walk normal at times (nerve damage?). I tried the usual stretches to try to relieve it, but nothing worked. A couple of minutes with this machine and I was finally able to get some relief. Even my wife loves it. She is always asking for a back rub, and now, with this, it takes very little effort ;) And when I use it on her back, it's so powerful that it literally takes her breath away. As far as massagers go, this is the first time I ever needed one, and this one is fairly quiet as far as I can tell. Of course it makes noise, but not an obnoxious amount. It did however make a lot of noise when I massaged my calf muscle while sitting on the couch and my foot was on the floor. It vibrated the whole room (very powerful), lol. There is one thing that I wish was different about this massager, and that is the speed settings. The lowest is 1750, and that still seems too high in many situation IMO. And I also wish you had more control of the speed on the actual massager. You get 5 presets. It would be nice to be able to dial in on the fly with the machine and not having to get your phone, open the app, and then adjusting the speed. Things I like: 1.) Powerful 2.) Multiple tips for specific messages, but the main tip pretty much handle them all. 3.) Bluetooth connectivity for downloading specify presets and fine tuning speeds. Things I don't like: 1.) Lowest setting is still too high for certain messages IMO 2.) Can be difficult to use on yourself, especially the back

This massage device is quite intense. It definitely takes some getting used to. While some might consider it painful, the feeling after a session is amazing! The app connects the device to a smartphone and allows the phone to control the speed and intensity based on whatever routine is chosen. My favorite at the moment is the "Sleep" routine. In six minutes, the app directs the user to go through specific regions like the neck, shoulders, back, arms, legs, and feet. At the end, I feel so relaxed and ready to fall asleep. During the six minutes, there is no mistaking that the device is running. Besides showing what region to work on, the app also shows a timer for each area and a graph to show how well pressure is being applied to the person receiving the massage. I am also happy to note that the battery life is impressive. I can ran through multiple programmed routines and play around with varying intensities to target specific zones that need extra work. In that time, the battery only drops 25%. The carrying case is also helpful. It contains the device, charger, and all of the tips. One thing I wish the case has, is some type of cheat sheet to show what each tip does. I will remember eventually, but for now I have to look in the manual each time to figure it out. Besides the tips being unlabeled, it is a bit surprising to see that they are not extremely high quality. Some of them had small holes and cracks straight out of the box. From the beginning, this is an easy way to trap sweat and bacteria. I would not want to share the device with anyone other than a partner or spouse. In time, I fear that this will lead to odor if not properly cleaned. Just the holes / cracks themselves mean that they are going to wearout and fall apart sooner. While the sound levels have supposedly improved from earlier designs, this device is still a bit on the noisy side. It is fine to the people in the room, but it is still loud enough that I am hesitant to use this later at night when I might wake the neighbors in my apartment building. If I just happened to receive a bad group of tips from the initial production line, I would recommend this to a friend. The end result after a routine feels amazing. Compared to the time and money spent on professional massages, the Theragun probably pays for itself relatively fast.

I work at a job where you have to stand for 8+ hours a day and depending on the task you’re quite sore after work. This thing is a life saver and helps me stop feeling sore. The OLED screen helps make it easy to find the right settings. As far as the sound that comes from it I didn’t really notice it unless you’re looking for it.
