Dec 2021 - Be aware that right now a large number of these devices are shipping with defective batteries rendering them inoperative. Beyond the sheer disappointment of the person I was offering this device too, I get to experience the total incompetence of the Theragun tech support team. They are overwhelmed with the number of returns and cannot cope.

This company has a big problem on their hands. Cant be trusted. 2 new units with 2 totally different battery issues. One only lasted 20 minutes on full charge, the other took over 6 hrs to charge, turned it on and it immediately went to 27 percent charge. 2 strikes, you’re out. Read all the posts at Amazon and Target.

You have no place to repair it after 1 year warranty. They wouldn't send a replace because the warranty has expired, which is understandable but they don't have any repair center either, the only way for you to get a working theragun is to buy a new one in full price!! Worst costumer service ever!

Brand new out of the box and doesn’t work. Had it on the charger for 4 hours amd thr battery only got to 48 percent. Wouldn’t turn on and then when i plugged it back in the battery went back to 0. Spending this much money on a product you shouldn’t have this problem. After doing some research it seems to be a common problem.

I'm so incredibly disappointed with this product. It's nowhere is near as powerful as the videos show. The presentation of the product was excellent. But the performance was so very weak. I've used it twice so far and I want my money back.

Device was broken out of the box, would not hold a charge even after several hours of charging. You would expect that for such an expensive item they would properly QC it, which makes me wary about the overall quality.

Broke within two weeks. Screen would turn on and the massager would not go. Very disappointing. Don't believe spending more will get you better quality

Not turning on, I try to change by warranty but its so complicate....was easier to return to best buy

The issues with the battery 100% true, the customer service for warranty also extremely faulty!! Not worth it.

Battery is not replaced or repaired by Therabody. With a 1 year warranty, my purchase from May 2021 is not covered. So effectively we spent $399 plus tax on something that is now useless. Deeply disappointed in Therabody’s lack of support and the poor design. Clearly no thought went into minimizing the carbon footprint- these expensive massage guns become “disposable” once the battery fails.

After buying online, returning due to a defective battery, and getting a replacement at another Best Buy location, I had to return the second Theragun due to the same exact problem. Theragun needs to do some sort of recall/investigation into manufacturing defect. This seems to be a more widespread problem than I realized.

I bought this massage gun as it had $50 off vs. the black color one. When I opened it and try to charge it, the battery level was always displaying 0% and never went above that. Had to return it.

This will be my 5th one trying to get one that works unfortunately i cannot switch to black so im just rolling the dice until i get one that works

Ordered and returned 2 defective units in the past month. I was so excited about this product but both units failed yo charge once plugged in.
