The new and exchanged scratched up F750 I have/had both had motion detection off in hardwire park mode in the present. My early experiences with the f750 i did have motion detection setting in park mode at lowest setting . I think the f750 caused deep cycling in my car battery for several weeks in park mode and now the f750 want power up in hardwire park mode for two hours with motion detection off with only park sensitivity on. I want buy a dashcam again without a battery pack and split wiring harness for park mode.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This dashcam will start prompting you to format micro SD card every couple weeks and there is no way to disable it. Customer support advised that SanDisk is not proper card, as well as Samsung and I tried 2 different they recommended (High Endurance Transcend / Lexar) cards and same thing. I would get rid of it but did hardwire installation. Check forums for that issue. Look for something else.

(1) The format reminder can be disabled by pressing the FORMAT button on the unit. Formatting is an integral process that maintains the performance of the memory card by removing bad blocks on the card.
(2) The format reminder is a good indication that the microSD card you are using is working properly with the dash cam. While users will be notified every 2 weeks or so to format, once again, the reminder can be disabled by pressing the FORMAT button.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Made a mistake with my earlier review by saying blackboxmycar said Thinkware F750 was discountinued but my experiences with the Thinkware F750 function is true. In my vehicle the power shutdown happens daily with the hardwire saying low battery and my car and battery is new and no setting changes the situation and would recommend reading warranty exchange before buying Thinkware product.

Not worth the money

I spent $299 for this cam at Best Buy and at that time didn't offer a 2 yr. plan like they do now. The unit is now $199-$229 and now a 2 yr. warranty for $20. I thought spending more money it would last longer and be a great unit. Very disappointed!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thinking my F750 was defective I did a warranty exchange and got a two year old model 750 with scratches on side from Thinkware. Your vehicle battery changes in volts with outside tempature. Even setting voltage on my car with lowest setting in dash cam viewer didnt help with dashcam powering off in hardwire park mode. Only thing in my opinion that might help is a auxiliary battery pack in park mode with cellblink which is $200.00 dollars plus labor. blackboxmycar says the F750 is discontinued model.

Sadly that is not the case this time. I had the camera less than six months and it stopped working. After reading several reports and reviews online. I would not suggest any thinkware product.
