High-quality cord but it's a tad too thick to route cleanly behind various interior panels. Can't easily tuck it in due to its thickness. Otherwise, its a good enough length and no other issues.

The hard wiring cable is not required! You can use the cigarette lighter adapter that is included in the box. The hard wiring cable is only needed if you want to use parking mode.
