Best light weight vacuum for the money you can buy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tineco makes awesome vacuum cleaners. I have been using their S12 EX for over two years now and love it. This new PWRHERO 10S is a lightweight cordless vacuum that is perfect for quick cleanups and a great addition to Tineco’s lineup. The vacuum weighs just over 5lbs.The vacuum came very well packaged and included the vacuum along with several useful attachments. There is a dusting brush, crevice tool and a small powered brush for cleaning furniture and stairs. I really like these small powered brushes and am glad Tineco includes them with a vacuum at this price point. The unit is simple to assemble and the instructions are very detailed. The unit comes with a single battery that is removable for charging or you can mount the unit with the battery on to the included docking station. Tineco claims 25 minutes of run time which is fine for quick cleanings. I had no problem cleaning the hardwood floors on my first floor of about 1200 sq.ft. on a single charge. The battery shows you how much life is left but there is no digital readout for other functions of the unit like some of Tineco’s higher priced offerings. There is a large easy to empty and clean dust bin. The vacuum uses a conventional brush style cleaning head that works very well on carpet and can be used on hard floors as well. The brush head has large wheels on the back of the head and smaller wheels on the front which makes the unit very maneuverable. There are two positions for suction. A lower power level and a max power level which is adjusted on the top of the unit. Tineco includes a lever to lock the unit in the on position so you don’t have to hold to button down to operate the vacuum. This is a very convenient feature. One of the best features of this vacuum for me is that all of the attachments and cleaning heads including the soft hardwood floor brush from am S12 fits on this 10S. The only thing that won’t work between the two is the batteries. The 10S also uses the same pre-filter that is found on the S12 and the cleaner attachment tool of the S12 also works with the 10S. This is an exceptional vacuum for the price. I have vacuums costing significantly more that don’t perform as well or offer the features that this 10S does. I would highly recommend this vacuum.

Top heavy- you have to lean it against something or lay it down. It's fallen and the dust compartment lid is busted. The battery life is decent. But it needs to be emptied after after room. Wont pick up popcorn kernels or anything bigger than crums.
