It comes with a windshield mount which is good as I had to buy one seperately for the older model. The new version is ok, doesn't seem to talk as much which may be a good thing!! I like the lane recommendation.

Less expensive GPS with international maps

The TomTom was pre-loaded with these (and for Mexico) and cost less than half of the price for a Garmin model with the same maps. No Best Buy in our area carried the Garmin model in the store either and we could not wait to have it shipped. We walked in the store and walked out with the TomTom.

Big improvement over previous model

When plugged into a car's DC socket the GPS powers on when the car starts and powers off when the car is turned off. The beginning of a route now shows a circle, allowing you to back up your car without altering the route. Most of the time the destination is more accurate than a previous model. The GPS is clear and easy to use.

So far i am very happy with this one. it is pretty easy to use and FAR better than the old magellan i had. would definitely recommend a tomtom.
