I use it to drive to places I am unfamiliar with and I have not been disappointed in its accuracy. I never leave the house, on a trip without it. I especially like the traffic and detouring feature to help save time and patience. I have learned new routes and consider this item to be one of the best investments I have made.

The screen is large enought to see clearly day or nighttime, the suction stays put on the windshield, and has been on target for directions, and searches of locations.

It would be better if the audio told you what street you were turning onto as you were making the turn ("Turning right onto Jefferson Drive"). It will also be nice to have a pleasant audio sound when you made the correct turn. There should also be some type of very brief warning ping when you exceed 5 miles over the speed limit. I had all those features with the GPS on my phone. Other than that, this is a good product, especially for the low price. This GPS system warns you well ahead of time when a turn is coming up and also tells you well ahead of time which lane you should be in to make any turns, exits or splits.

It charges and syncs well, and it's a snap to get to where you're going. Finding "places of interest" is easy too; either search via topic (library, post office, etc) or by name, and it'll get you there. All in all a great GPS unit, especially for beginners.
