Somewhat easier to work with than my circa 2009 Tom-Tom. Won't have a complete assessment of the device until I connect it to my computer for my first roads data base update a month or so from now.

I purchased this GPS because it was the most affordable option after my old Garmin GPS died (after 8 years). I am reasonably happy with it, although I found my old one more user friendly. Still, my main goal was to get a GPS that would get me where I needed to go as affordably as possible and this one does that.

I purchased this unit to replace an older TomTom and am very pleased with the purchase. The unit starts up instantly and connects with GPS within seconds. The screen is very clear and easy to ready. I like all of the information that TomTom units display while driving. Life-time maps are a great bonus!

Easy to setup and use. Sits sturdy on the provided stand and can also be attached to windshield. Directions are pretty accurate. Lane guidance is also helpful

This is my second Tom tom GPS. It is very easy to use. The voice directions are very clear. With other GPS, sometimes we can not understand what is saying but this one is very clear and gives us plenty of warning when we need to turn.

This is a nice product with fast interaction. Tap works perfectly and the screen rotation is also quick. The search UI is easy too. However the maps are not very accurately up to date. I live in NJ and it had a lot of difficulties in finding 4 Walter Foran Blvd in Flemington. Not expected, as it is quite a known and old address. This is an example only as I have faced the downside of the accuracy of the map many times.

This unit is very easy to use , I got it for somebody who has trouble with directions and it helped him out immediately . It is definitely time saving when going on a trip

I have used this GPS for almost a year now. So far so good, I would recommend updating at least once a month for accurate results. It shows speed limit (which turns red if overspeeding), ETA, miles, alerts when using toll roads and some features that I barely used. Includes safety cameras for additional charge online (optional) and more. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

I gave 4 out of 5 because it seems to loose battery life quickly when not in use & the power cord does come out easily for removal how I'm use to with the older model

It seems to be a good GPS and finds good shortcuts through small towns. Although, it never thinks I'm at my destination.

Map updates very useful and easy to download. Used in Kentucky with no cell phone service. But Gps worked just fine.

I like this GPS because is easy to set, have a lot of features, perfect size and easy to see streets and directions :)

I purchased this item as a gift for my daughter who was moving to Florida. It was just the right size for her car, any bigger and it would take up too much room.

This device mount is not suitable for attachment in New England's cold temperatures. You can program device for addresses but in cities, ridiculous best/fastest routes are incorrect. Multiple traffic lights will always take longer than perimeter roads with less lights especially in rush hour. Otherwise this unit is reliable for up to 3 years, its maximum life span. All of our Tom Tom GPS units have failed at 2.5 to 3 years of age.

I usually use my phone for GPS, I'm ready to start my new venture with Tom Tom

I have used a more expensive GPS but this much less expensive is easier to use and has everything I need.

I'm happy with the TomTom - VIA 1515M 5 GPS and felt it did a very good job of navigating up the ALCAN (Alaska) Highway to Alaska. I had a Garmin before that was fine, but it didn't have lifetime maps or a map of Canada. I didn't really read much about how to operate it before I started using it and found it to be fairly easy to figure out through trial and error. I like the feature where you can get a warning sound when you are near a school zone.

I use this for work so I don't have my phone tied up. The language is clear and understandable. The battery does not constantly need recharging. It has a good size display. Very simple to use.

This is our second TomTom and we have been very pleased with the directions they have given. We always reach our destination using this easy to follow GPS.

I have been a Tom Tom user for 10+ years. I had high expectation moving from old to new TomTom but was little disappointed. The battery life is stated 3 hours but in reality it lasts only for 1 hour. The map updates takes forever - my first update took overnight.
