My old Tom Tom device stopped working after almost 5years. I purchased another Tom Tom, this device is good in the price range but quality of this particular product is not very existing.

I am a new - 2-wk - Pizza Deliverer [April 2020 due to Covid-19]. Had a 2010 TomTom, which worked great and fast. With so much new construction where I live and work, no updates available (why? they said data storage which I think is FALSE as I don't think it STORES anything) I am returning this new TomTom, TOOOOO SLOW, You can select and keep your State (Texas-you have to press the > on the USA flag to get to the states-this was not user friendly on this selection) after entering the city, it does retain it (we have 3 different small towns in our delivery area) but you have to press on the bottom right 'keyboard' to pop DOWN the keyboard to see the other cities previously used (the geek should have written this program to AUTOMATICALLY pop down the keyboard when selecting city, then pop up the keyboard. Then, after entering the street name, it pulls up the name, but it could be DRIVE, CIRCLE, COVE, etc. and AGAIN, the keyboard is IN THE WAY, you have to manually press bottom right, to remove keyboard to see all similar street selections. (time consuming) I hate this, the other old 2010 TomTom, allowed you to see more than one street, Ex. Northland Cir, next line, Northland Dr. (without having to pop down the keyboard) This is HIGHLY ANNOYING-NOT USER FRIENDLY AND SOOOOO S-L-O-W. The 2010 TomTom is much faster. Thanks, but pass this on to your R&D Department Geeks - the biggest room you have on this is the ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT!

I have one for each car. They are always turned on and ready to go even if I know how to get there.

Not a lot of frills but it does what a gps should do, plot the best route to your destination, unlike some Garmin's I've had that take you miles out of your way. Great gps

With having previous Tomtom units. this one is disappointing. #1 touch screen is slow, you hit the button and nothing happens so you hit it again. Then all the letters start showing up, backspace and start over! #2 New unit start off in address search in the USA and narrow it down from there. Old unit (Tomtom) already had my state with cities I most used. #3 Info bar on right is too wide maybe 1/3 of the screen all of the time except when turning. Old unit was maybe 1/2" and I never had a problem seeing my traffic alerts.

This GPS HAS NEVER STEERED ME WRONG AND RECOMMEND IT FOR THE TRAVELER THAT YOU CAN SEE DETOURS OR, ROAD CONSTRUCTION THAT YOU DON'T SEEN ON A FOLDED PAPER MAP.

Went to Mexico for vacations I purchased this thinking it would be helpful over there. Never got the opportunity to use it because it never had the directions for the places I wanted to get to

We used this GPS for three days traveling from Florida to Alaska. It worked well in Canada but the USA was sketchy. I wouldn’t recommend this to other person.

Screen was smaller than I thought. Not as many features as I would have liked it to have and found one that was much more detailed on Amazon. Good brand though.

The GPS is an invaluable tool for me. I no longer am concerned about driving to unknown locations because the GPS will accuratly guide me to my destination.

Bought this as a gift for a friend who has no experience with technical things and she has been able to figure it out! So pleased with this purchase.

This is our 3rd Tom Tom in 12 years. This the best so far, wakes up faster from off and loads faster. We will keep buying from the same brand.

This compact GPS was priced right! Small screen but bright and easy to see. The lifetime map upgrades are a bonus, too!

i have not used it that much. getting use to using it. having problems downloading the info from my pc . hope to clear that up, asap

Can't get it set up so we don't have to redo it each use. Won't keep the settings plus screen size is too small

The ergonomics are not a good as a 1515 or a 1535 I'm familiar with. The 1525M processor is very slow. If you double-select, the unit goes into brain-freeze and won't respond until the processor catches up. You can spend up to five minutes entering data when previous models would be done in a minute. The strangest attribute is the HOME address. The unit insists on driving into the alley behind my house and parking there; not out front. Go figure?

My review is for the store, no sales help they would rather talk. I had a good experience with the Checkout person my only contact in the store.

GPS is void of any important instructions to get you started quickly. But this model has alerts to speed, which may help avoid going over the limit.

I am loving my New Tomtom-ViA 1525M5” GPS. I would recommend it to anyone who does not have one of the GPS

Set up was easy. While the visuals are different from the earlier one I had - for about 10 years - these are easy to view.
