not to crazy about windows 10, but pc has what I need

After I received my computer and completed the set up process I found the computer to be slow. Also, the speakers did not work properly and I ended up returning the computer to Best Buy and exchanged it for a different one.

So, I bought this computer for mobile use such as for grad school and watching movies/ light gaming as I already have a gaming rig at home. After having this for about 3 days, I'd say this is a very good everyday computer. Its not a gaming laptop, so do not expect to play graphic intensive games. For a $300 laptop it feels and handles like a $500-$600 laptop. However, it seems a bit sluggish due to the 5,400 rpm hdd and its limiting single channel memory maximium supported motherboard that Toshiba choose to go with. Although it says you can't upgrade your ram or hdd, you definitely can. I ordered a 4gb 1Rx8 PC3L- 12800S- 11- 13- B3 ram stick (total of 8gb) and had swapped out the hdd with a 480gb ssd. Let me tell you, it makes a tremendous difference turning it into a whole new laptop.

Vibrant display and more than adequate storage. Loud fan noise. Keys have good response but could be better. I think my laptop was hacked. Resets worked temporarily. I couldn't use it more than 1 minute, sometimes up to 10 minutes before it started to over heat. Big disappointment compared to my Dell laptop which was 8 years old!

I just bought this laptop yesterday and happy I did because today it went back to regular price. ($349.99) I got it for $299.99. I love Lenovo computers, so thats what I wanted, but when I seen I could get a faster processor for the same price as the Lenovo, plus a little nor e features I jumped on the deal. So dar awesome though.

This is the best laptop I've bought for the price. I've had it for 6 months and it is consistently working in the same condition since purchase. Fair battery life ~3hrs. Just enough power to play games like elder scrolls online smoothly (just on lower quality graphic settings). I'm so disappointed to see it is sold out, I was planning on purchasing another for a family member! Hope to see it come back. The only negative is it definitely does NOT have "awesome sound." But, that's not part of my laptop needs.

I got this labtop to keep lots of pictures and music on. It does what its suppsoed to, its light weight and the sound is amazing. I hate how dirty it gets though, one touch on the coumputer and your fingerprint is basically engraved. It gets dirty easily which is annoying. The computer itself runs fast with the A10.. I never had a tosbiha and ive had it for 3 days now and i like it very much!

Runs great, wife loves it. Great price! Wife uses for Photoshop and Light Room.

I ended up getting the touch-screen version of this laptop, but I can't find that listed on the website anymore, so I'm posting it here. Overall, it's a good little laptop. Great at browsing the internet, watching videos, etc. My issues, however, all come in usability. I believe all of the problems I've had can be traced to the placement of the touchpad. I've used multiple touchpads before, but this one is just ridiculous. Placing my hands in a traditional, comfortable touch-typing position, both of my palms are right above the touchpad. This basically means that every minute or so, I'm accidentally hitting the touchpad, moving the mouse or refocusing it somewhere I don't want to. Writing this review alone, this has happened 5 times and resulted in it selecting a word and deleting it completely separate from where I was actually typing. The mouse also seems to cut in and out of usage. When I start using it moderately heavily, either through downloading multiple files where I might need to click multiple buttons consecutively, it will just stop working for about 20-30 seconds. I don't really know what this issue could be and I've downloaded and re-installed the drivers from Toshiba a few times.

DO NOT BUY THIS if you want to use BIOS settings and or use for running multiple Operating Systems.

As the only user of this new device, I was surprised when the fan completely stopped working and something inside started to expand and popped open my base on the right side. I tried to pop it back closed but it not only popped back opened as time passed it expanded further. I have tried to call the company and they want me to pay. Less than 2 years old.

Restarts for no reason, battery is worse-returned.
