First one I bought worked for a day, and then the screen started scrambling. I called Toshiba and they said that they wouldn't help me, because it must be a software issue. I contacted the store I bought it at and they said that it's probably the internal cable that connects the hard drive to the monitor. They replaced it no problem. A week later, My computer told me that my free virus software was expired. I called the store, and they said that I had to come in to get it deactivated. I emailed the store's management team and they gave me a new code without having to stop in. It's been a month, and I'd so far it's been a good laptop for the price.

Purchased laptop for my 85 year old Father who stills loves technology. Great laptop for checking email and accessing web pages. Setup/configuration was easy - total time to set up laptop completely was about 1 hour. Removed all non-essential software that had potential to become a security threat down the road. Loaded MS Office 2013 and AntiVirus software and tested. My 85 year old father gets a kick out of the Touch-Screen..!

This was Christmas present for my daughter and she loves it. She is on it everyday and takes it to school. Her favorite feature it the tough screen. The price was very resonable for what the laptop has and can do.

I was looking for a reasonably-priced laptop that provided a Touch-Screen and Blue Tooth connectivity, and this Toshiba filled the request while also offering 6 gigs of memory and a Terabyte hard drive. It filled my needs and continues to exceed my expectations. Highly recommend this product for its price.

Had to buy a replacement laptop the beginning of Dec due to my HP acting up for the 5th time, (would not power up). I absolutely love this laptop.It response time is amazing, Comes with much more memory and RAM and best of all was it was less expensive than HP.

This laptop was just as described in the product review, it's sleek light weight and both touch screen and mouse adaptable. Perfect for personal use and games.

The laptop is responsive and works well for our purposes which includes a lot of Internet research, emailing, document writing, and a little Netflix or YouTube from time-to-time. I would like to see the physical edges softened up or smoothed out somehow. The edges feel sharp enough to shave with. The keyboard feels delicate and I start getting worried when I get to typing a good paper. I type at 138 wpm if that helps give you a frame of reference.

I love all the features and the touch screen ability is very helpful. I only wish the display resolution was better. The unit is a fingerprint magnet, the brush finish is not easily cleaned if it was a smoother finish. The WiFi and processing speeds are pretty good. It did crash on me the first day of using it but other than that it's been working fine. I will give it the benefit of the doubt and say it was user error because I was trying to plug and play different USB devices and trying to put it through its paces. All in all a great unit for home.

Everything this laptop has works great and is fast.the touch screen is great and better to use than scrolling on the pad imo.I would recommend it.

While beginning the set up the computer would not find the wifi, I turned it (computer and wifi button) off and on several times, went to it's on line guide (using another computer) no help, finally ended up hard wiring the thing to get it up and running. After removing it from the cable it still didn't see the wifi. Last ditch effort was to reboot the blue tooth on it. That finally got it running. Everything else was a breeze once I got online. Since then no issues But if you don't know what to do or what to try its to the Geek Squad Desk you go.

The Toshiba Satellite C55T-C5300 Laptop was a good buy and works great. I especially love the touch screen, which allows me to quickly use the laptop with simple touches. The 5th generation Intel I3 processor is fast and uses very little power. The battery charge lasts through a full day of operation before needing to be recharged. Windows 10 was a new challenge, but the basics were quickly mastered. On-line tutorials helped configure Win10 options and also helped eliminate most of Microsoft's spying on my laptop operations. I was shocked to learn the massive amounts of information being transmitted to Microsoft from Win10. Hopefully most of the info being sent to Microsoft by Cortana, Bing, and some processes have been stopped. Overall, the Toshiba laptop is great, but Win10 will continue to be an ongoing challenge.

My only major complaint about this laptop is the edging. If you are typing and lay your wrists/arms down the edge on the laptop is rather sharp and really cuts into you. The screen also seems to have a bit more glare to it than my last Toshiba. The screen also has a more limited range on open/closed than my last. The speed and performance is fantastic, Windows 10 might take a little getting used to but other than that it works great.

I really like this new laptop. I wasn't looking for a touch screen, but now that I have one, I'm not sure how I lived without it! It's very responsive and easy to use. The only complaint I have so far is that the mouse pad is overly sensitive. If you accidentally brush anywhere around it, it moves the cursor. Other than that, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I like this laptop. It's got all of the basics I need and I like that it is touchscreen as well. It's a little heavy but not bad.

I purchased the laptop for my teens to do homework, gaming and internet access. So far they have been very satisfied with the laptop and the touch screen is a bonus.

I bought it for my 13 year old daughter to use for school and recreation. She loves it and so far no concerns. She plays games and watches movies and videos and she love it. I hope it takes her through high school.

I think it's a really good laptop it's easy to use had trouble at first getting hooking up to my wifi but other than that no problem. Have recommended to a friend and she bought one as well and she loves it too

I got this for my wife she loves it, but she is not a fan of the touch screen (she forgets it's a touch screen). It is a great touch screen for the price i paid $330.00 it's fast it does what it should. I have MS office 16 on it and theres no problems. Keyboard is good, touch screen is good. This is not a gaming laptop. It's under $500.00 so no backlit keyboard, but its worth what you pay.

This laptop was on sale and couldn't pass on the offer. It has 6 gb memory and 1 TB. Also, on top of that the screen is touch. This is an awesome computer for any age and I recommend this product to everyone.

Is a bit sharp on the sides other than that it is light weight and easy to use
