This extender solved this problem; I can use WiFi anywhere in the house now without any problems. It took me 5 minutes to set everything up by following simple instructions.

Bought this because we have a TP-Link router that works fine (within normal range). However, this extender just didn't work right, perhaps we got one that was partially defective? Devices would connect and then be disconnected. The local Best Buy took it back and we exchanged for a different model of TP-Link extender that works correctly.

If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in WiFi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's WiFi signal is sufficiently strong; yet far enough from the router to effectively extend its range. Please verify the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.

I would have to turn off and on to restart the device and get connected again. Though the instructions were easy to follow the device wasn’t a great product.
