This wi-fi extender seems to have done the trick. My Roku in a bedroom far from my router kept dropping out because of low signal strength I believe. After installing this range extender have not had the issue. This was a little more expensive but had better specs. Had to play with channels when linking roku for best signal.

I have an outdoor Ring camera that kept going offline because of a weak signal strength. This extender fixed the issue and it was incredibly easy to set up.

I wanted a way of getting better wifi coverage in my patio and for my Ring Devices. It does actually help. I'm able to keep my connection now at either 2.4 ghz or 5.0 ghz when in my backyard. As for speed, It's rated at 1300 mbps at 5ghz. My iphone will clock at pretty solid 500 mbps. If I switch to the extender, at the same exact spot , it only clocks at 150 tops. I mean, for Iphone and Ipad usage thats good enough, My main goal was to improve reception. I now get full wifi bars when connected to extender. Download the app to set it up, much easier and intuitive. Also, the three antennae are pretty cheaply made.

I’ve had the WiFi extender for about a month now. It has significantly increased the signal throughout the house and even parts of the backyard. Streaming in the dead zones is possible now. I am very pleased.

This is grabbing the WIFI signal sent from a TP-LINK EAP225-Outdoor Access Point that is mounted to my second floor soffit and wired direct via LAN line to the service provider router. The TP-Link - AC1750 Gigabit Wi-Fi Range Extender is mounted in my detached garage/mancave that now provides high speed internet up to 50-90 Mbps for any needs we may have. My son even setup his X-box any plays CoD with out problems.

Have a large ranch home with our provider supplied router that could not reach far bedrooms nor the patio. This had great reviews on line. I configured it with the Ethernet patch cable and it was quite simple to do. Then go and find a halfway point and try it in a wall socket. If the light stays blue you are good to go. Be sure to give this extender a name you can recognize.
