I have problems of getting a good signal. My house is made of brick, it seems to drop a lot before but now it seems better. Can’t really say it’s the best but not bad for a little better signal and for the price.

Thank you for your review. Please note that Arlo cameras exclusively connect to their proprietary Arlo base station, not your router. A WiFi extender will connect to your router and extend its signal, however the Arlo base station does not support traditional WiFi extension.

"How can I extend the range of my Arlo system?
Instead of connecting the Arlo base station directly to your router, you can connect the base station to an Ethernet port on a Wi-Fi range extender or Powerline adapter. This means you can put the Arlo base station farther away from the router or in a central location in your home to get better coverage with your Arlo cameras."

Had a little trouble get it set up but contacted customer support and they couldn't do enough for me. Had it up and running in minutes. Pleasant surprised how far away I could place this from my router and still receive a strong signal. When a product does what it says it will do, that's all I can ask for.

Web based tether app functions well. 2.4 and 5 GHz Wifi-both signals adequate over >200 ft outbuilding to house. Functions in subzero temps. Purchased for ability to connect ethernet based appliance (solar inverter); wireless extension works well also.

As a per the wifi also now reaches out to the shed. Super easy to set up

Decide to pick this brand up as it had good reviews and a good value. Definitely recommend this product especially if you have dead spots in your house and if you have multiple devices hooked to the network. If your router is in the living room it makes it difficult for the other rooms in the house to get a strong WiFi signal. This product definitely helps with that by strengthening the WiFi for better reception.

Tried the extender and it was easy to set up and solved the problem. I had to delete the 5G band and use 2.4 to make everything work.

Let's put it this way, my kids are not complaining about the internet not working in their rooms. Easy to install. I don't believe you have to spend any more money for an extender.
