Setup was not easy and had a difficult time getting any of my TVs or phone to connect. I had a Netgear before this one and ended up returning this one and getting another upgraded Netgear and had no issues

Got a linksys to replace it and have had no issues since. Made sure it has the latest firmware. Tried different antenna configurations. No use.

Older router but still checks out

Its still fine for basic web browsing but we have since got more newer and advanced xfinity gateways. I dont think best buy even sells this anymore. Id get something newer if possible.

And the TP link customer support has been great on the occasional issue of security upgrade prompts from Apple and internet service issues. One standout Technical Support Engineer is Tyrone Yu, who expertly and clearly walked us through re-establishing the WiFi settings after an inadvertent setting reset on our part.

They really knocked it out of the park with this one. Incredible speed, easy set-up, great features, and killer media player/USB device support make this THE router to own, at a fantastic price! Far better than the Netgear AX8 I returned for a refund at half the price. Thank you TP-Link!!!

Coming from owning another router brand, this one was a breeze to set up and the controls are far easier to understand. Turning on/off and limiting access is very nice. Makes it easier to place limitations on kids devices.

Their utter lack of support for this model (Archer C4000) is atrocious as it's only received three updates. The latest update being from November of 2019! Customer Support states it's still supported, but if your last update is from 2019 I dont think so.
