    Upgraded from an AC router to AX. Didnt see many changes in speed or range, but I dont think thats this routers fault. Its been stable since setup 4 months ago.

    i mean this was 1st time using TP but i thought it was going to be good. and i was wrong.. it was slow and missing features that i was used to on my old netgear bight hawk.. but thats what happens i guess going witha cheap router. that claimed to be a 2gig router.so i returned it the next day and when back to using my netgear nighthawk x4 till i have the money for another better one

    Started having problems within a few hours of setup on devices connected to 5GHz: they’d show connected but have no data, or would have slow download and no upload, or be extremely slow overall. This would be one room away from the router where my old one had zero problems. After trying different settings (for example testing new channels), sometimes the 5GHz would be slow to reapppear or not show back up at all until completely rebooting (by connecting to the 2.4GHz.) Now I know why it was cheaper. Also, it’s wifi 6 but NOT 6Ghz which seems pointless. Does have a 2.5 Gbps WAN port which I confirmed was working by fast speeds at first (1100Gbps+). Initial setup was easy and Tether app works okay but settings are limited (compared to web interface) and not intuitive (LOTS useless status/report displays.)
